I used to come here all the time in 2018 and my most recent visit was last year, the food is usually good value for the money. I especially love the mochi ice cream dessert that they have, although one time the mochi ice cream texture felt like it had defrosted and refrozen at some point before it ended up on my plate, but I can forgive that one incident for all the other times that the ice cream was perfect.My partner did complain one time that they didn't have music on, he felt uncomfortable that it was too quiet if no one else was talking because of the lack of music.
I will never eat here again or recommend this restaurant to anyone poor customer service from the manager name James. I call to express this issue of my food being old the rice was hard and crunchy! James stated he couldn’t do anything to help or accommodate me. I spent over $25 on my order. My food should have been fresh I stressed that to the lady who took my order being that this was my second time getting food that wasn’t fresh. I do not recommend please if you want quality fresh food Do not order… money waisted!
We have always been huge fans of this place (8+years) but lately the food has been bland. Last night we paid $50 with tip for delivery and it was just awful. Spicy massaman had ZERO spice again, second order in a few weeks- I even asked them to add spice and he said on the phone they couldn’t…. We thought a few weeks ago it was just a different chef, now we’re done. Mongolian beef for our daughter had much less beef than usual, chicken lo mein was flavorless. We’re really sad ?
1-9-2023Ordered Mei Fun vege and Mei fun combo. Both were extremely dry and noodles were rubbery. Very little veges. No flavor. Very bland. Also ordered Hibachi chicken with fried rice. Charged $2.00 extra for fried rice that had sparse veges if any and they added soy sauce. Some of the rice was still white. The sauce in the hibachi chicken was watery but did have a hibachi flavor. Would not recommend.
we i miss authentic asian food, this is basically the best place to order for. super fast, ample quantity of food on the options.if you are looking for a good (and not too americanized) authentic asian food, welp her ya go
My order is incomplete! the sauce for sweet and sour pork is missing. The one they called “Happy Family” is all veggies I can even count the meat! $ 17.50 for only veggies? poor service!
Delicious very hard to find perfect orange chicken that's not battered more than it should be. Everything about their food is amazing they have really good chefs

My fav Chinese restaurant in Rowlett (thought they do have Thai and Japanese too). I love the wonton soup and pot stickers. My husband is a curry man and he never has been disappointed with their curry dinners(or lunches) and they even deliver!! (Note we don't use Uber eats, we use Rowlett Eats that is a local delivery service, food was hot too)
Good food. HORRIBLE customer service. Warning DO NOT order delivery if they tell you to use Uber Eats. Had 4 person, over $100 order just not be delivered. Uber won't refund, Golden Pot won't refund, I'm just screwed and have to go get burgers an hour after I was promised my food.Manger whines that it's not his problem, go complain to Uber, but when Uber is the only delivery choice he gives, it is his problem. His customers need to be warned.
