If you are looking for a truly remarkable Chinese restaurant, then look no further. Each and everytime we have ordered from Chef Chen their dishes are delicious! Some of our favorites which are pictured below. Cathay Combo, which has a fantastic variety of chicken, beef, shrimp and veggies all in a flavorful brown sauce. General Tso's chicken...crispy fried chicken in a wonderfully spicy sauce and last but not least chicken lettuce wraps... Minced chicken, water chestnuts accompanied with a wonderful dipping or pour on soy style sauce with generous portion of lettuce leaves to wrap the chicken. We have been going to Chef Chen for years and we have tried other places but NONE can compare. Casual, reasonable and always delicious!!!
I wanted Chinese today, even though its Hot outside today. I searched maps for the closest place and here I am.The location is dark took a minute for my eyes to adjust. You place your order and wait. The kitchen was busy with to go orders. There was only me and one other guest dining.The chicken fried right was perfect and hit the spot. Big portion for $13. I will be back to try the lunch specials.
The Hot & Sour soup hit the right notes! Their sweet & sour chicken was possibly the best I’ve had in years!
Try to charge me $1.25 for sweet-and-sour sauce with my spring rolls? Like seriously? Never coming here again. Cheap and greasy.
Chef Chen is a staple in our household. Frankly, if you're getting anything other than their fried rice, you're doing it wrong. For over 15 years their Chicken Teriyaki Fried Rice bowl is something I've only ever found from Chef Chen. It takes longer to prepare than other dishes, but it is absolutely worth the wait.Chef Chen's delivery guys have always been great and ordering over the phone is always super easy.
First let me start off with . Read reviews. I should’ve went with my first mind after reading most of them . I bought a spicy chicken and jalepeno from here . When I got home and took a few bites . I became sick to my stomach . The container was filled with grease . The chicken taste blend or maybe because it was soaked in grease . Idk . I had 2 Jalepenos in the whole thing and so many mushrooms in it ,after I asked for no mushrooms . The rice was dry and over cooked . I called them right away and asked for a refund . I’m pregnant and felt sick and didn’t feel like getting out so, she said she will send someone to pick the food up . I didn’t feel ok with that after they were so rude about it . Didn’t want them with my address . I brought the food back today and she said well you ate at least 4/5 bites . Why should I refund , she was rude and still wasn’t willing to give me a refund only to replace . I told her no thank , I will stick with golden pot . She refunded me ,putting money in the counter with a attitude.It was my first Time trying this place . I never will again . It smell bad in there and the cooking stations are not clean with clutter around the kitchen . I can’t believe they got 5stars ever .
Food was too greasy . They should get new cooks ! Over priced and when I took it back for a remake I was treated poorly by a lady named Cyndi . Will never be a customer again . Clean the place up and make the food better
Wonderful peopleWonderful food!They were crazy busy Xmas day, but still were able to be friendly and even caught an error and called me back in so they could make it right.
Food was really good. Staff was amazing! I was unaware they are only open for takeout and delivery, but that wasn’t a problem for them. The sweet hostess set us up at a table and made us feel at home. Would definitely come (order to go) again.
They are all amazing people! Great food and fast delivery service. Never disappointed.
