Authentic Mexican Latin cuisine!!! Love the small atmosphere they have and Ignacio our waiter was fabulous and quick with getting our food out. We got a pork tamal, chicken enchiladas and Chile relleno. All were very flavorful and came with rice and beans. We will definitely be back.
Such a cute place to grab dinner! They even have happy hour on Saturday! The bar area was really lively. We went with a group of 10 and we were in and out in 1 1/2 hours!!! The food was great. You must try the chili relleno. It's grilled, not fried and had a wonderful roasted taste. The kids chicken strips were great and a lot of food!
I drive by here all the time, finally stopped to try this place for the first time very impressed. The place was spotless had descent amount of customers for late lunch. The food was delicious and the portions were fair. I ordered the Fajitas Mixed (Beef and Chicken) with refried beans and rice. The beans and rice were place on top of corn tortillas when the plate arrived Both sides were yummy and flavorful. Visit was Just great!Con: not enough grilled vegetables with the fajitas

I came in for the most delicious enchiladas de pollo desebrado with cream and tomatillo sauceI was greeted with the refreshing scent of Mint.This place is a jewel!!!The décor, the music (which by the way is playing delightfully by the Gypsy kings on the PA system)Personnel is courteous, friendly. Service is more than perfect Barrocos is my new favorite spot when I am about to enjoy some quiet time working at the library ? down the streetThis place makes me feel joy, happiness and nourishment.Come in and bring everyone you know!!
This is our new favorite Rowlett restaurant. We’ve gone for lunch and dinner both now, and everything is fabulous-drinks, appetizers, service and especially the food! $4 drinks during brunch & this big bowl of yummy queso for only $2 during lunch!!
Authentic Latin food, and family owned which I love! I have been coming here since they opened, food and service is always awesome. Come here if you want real food, no junk food here! To prepare you, it is a bit small, seating can take a bit but worth it. I wish they could expand dining space to accommodate but understand the limitations in downtown Rowlett.
I ordered nachos for my 3 year old son. I was not under the impression that the nachos would only be on 4 chips and my son did not like it so I asked if we could order chicken tenders. My chicken tenders never came out and when the bill came I noticed the nachos on my bill. I questioned the owner on it and she said “my business is successful. Can you not read the menu? Do you know what nachos are? when I go places if I don’t like something I eat it anyway” & I explained that my son did not like it and I just wanted to replace the nachos with the tenders and I’ll STILL pay as I intended on doing from the very beginning and she let me know that customer satisfaction was not their priority and if I did not like it I need to go to Chili’s or some other establishment where customer satisfaction is number one priority. The meal wasn’t honored, my son didn’t get a chance to eat & the professionalism was something unethical and unseen. If I could give a 0 I would. Not to mention she called the cops on us and said we were trespassing and had my son terrified because I sat and talked with other customers about our children. This lady is a drunk and does not know how to run a business. Take heed to my post.
Recent find for us. We’ve been very pleased with the food, service and atmosphere. Definitely in our restaurant rotation.
First time here. We ordered a sampler plate that had Nachos (steak & chicken), quesadillas (Steak & chicken) chicken flautist sour cream, guacamole and jalapeños. It was plenty for my wife and I.
Pleasantly surprised! Food was absolutely amazing and they had super yummy drinks as well! Great margaritas. Staff was extremely friendly and attentive. We went during a rush so it was very crowded but that didn't impact the service at all! Highly recommend, will definitely be returning<3
