Just had the Johnny Boy. Most excellent flavored cheesesteak meatball mess. Loved every bite of it. Definitely will be back. Hoping if they expand, they put one down in Taylor.
Not sure what happened to this place but over the year the quality of food diminished. I'm from Chicago and as close to comfort as this once was I will now rethink about coming. I ordered a combo and I got 6 slivers of roast beef and as I was eating the sandwich I noticed the link was pink. Showed it to the older gentleman and insisted it is pre-cooked before they get them. He obviously cared less about the quality. Wish I can download the pic. So sad I spent 22 dollars for it.
If you want a Chicago Style Dog, this is your place to go! I knocked off a star for price and the fries for lacking flavor. Otherwise it’s a good Chicago Eatery to satisfy that Chicago food craving!
Hidden gem! The food here is delicious (messy but that's part of the experience right?). Everyone was so nice and the customer service was amazing. We ordered to go, but next time will stay because it had such a relaxing atmosphere. The decor makes it feel like you're transported to Chicago. Try the Italian Beef. It really is amazing!!! Also the banana cream pie was so light and delicious. Definitely will be back!
Wow! Never been here before but this place was great! Clean store, clean restrooms and great food. Cheese steak sub and chicken cheese sub were awesome, great fries and great atmosphere. You won't go wrong coming here...
Ordered the Godfather, which is a meatball sub with a Italian Sausage link underneath, and it fell apart as soon as I picked it up. The staff was lovely and the food was very good, but couldn't enjoy my meal the way I wanted to because the bread fell apart.VERY good Sausage though.The Price is Right and the food is good ?
4-18-22 Just ordered a large cheesesteak with bacon and extra cheese and mushrooms on half. Of course it comes with mushrooms on all, meat is burnt and no extra cheese. So they take the one half back that should not have mushrooms and made it again. Got extra cheese but this time no bacon. When you put the old half next to the new have, it is extremely evident that the original part is burnt.. and had no extra cheese so they gave us cold slices of cheese in aluminum foil for that half.not pleased at all!
Nothing special. I had a meatball sub with cheesesteak topping. The meatballs tasted like frozen out of the bag grocery meatballs. The bun was soggy. The cheesesteak meat was OK. But for $15 total bill (I had a bag of chips with this sandwich), I would expect more for this price.
Best beef in the business! We go here all the time, pictured is my low carb version of the Italian beef and a side salad. My son had a grilled cheese and fries. Staff is amazing, if you follow them on Facebook they do contests and stuff to get a free meal. Love them!
We ordered out because we didn’t won’t to cook tonight… we’ll I guess we didn’t need to eat to tonight… the dogs were frozen SOLID!!! Sooooo disappointed ☹️!!!! We ordered through DoorDash and I checked the other apps nothing states the DOGS come FROZEN SOLID!!! Booooooooo!!!
