What a gem in Round Rock, Texas! This is a quaint little place with a river view. There is a small pool with shade and several outdoor sitting areas. The restaurant/bar has both indoor and outdoor seating, a rather small menu with tasty choices and great drinks. You get either a blue room or a green room with comfy beds, a refrigerator, coffee pot and interesting decor. Maid service was impeccable. The bar closes at 9:00 and quiet hour begins at 10:00pm. A great place for a getaway!
The room, the view, the quiet and quaint ambiance of the whole hotel is incredible- literally the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at. Jade the chef made an amazing dinner (do yourself a favor and try the pork tacos and cheesecake- yum!) and the two individuals (didn’t catch their names) tending the bar were incredibly friendly and helpful! Couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We will definitely be staying here again.
I searched for a place with a great sunset view near me, and this did NOT disappoint! It's tucked away from downtown in what feels like a residential area, and overlooking Bushy Creek. I only went to the bar, which is cozy and classy, with a lovely patio outside. It felt like walking into a private, welcoming club.The seats are well spaced for privacy, while still feeling part of the community. The outside furniture was clean. Yeah!The bartender was friendly, made a drink to my taste, and the salad was yummy, fresh, and had a generous portion of chicken.I highly recommend!
Such a great place to stay and hangout. We spent our anniversary here as a sort of staycation. We loved it. We spent most of our weekend at the hotel just hanging around. Beds are super comfy, we slept great at night and we took a couple naps too! The grounds are so relaxing, you forget you’re in a city! The creek is so lovely. And the pool and bar are great too. Everyone we interacted with was friendly and helpful. So often at cool, hip places you end up feeling not very cool or hip, but the whole staff here was so welcoming. Kudos! Also LOVE the in room espresso machines. What a gift. Highly recommend both the bar and hotel! Will have fond memories of our weekend here.
Our bartender Brian was the best! We were entertaining family from out of town and such a wonderful time and experience. Will be back for sure!
The Ruby Bar is such a wonderful place to grab delicious and aesthetically-pleasing drinks and soak in all the good vibes. It's a hidden gem, pun very much intended, tucked closely to downtown Round Rock. I reached out to the manager asking if I could have a small gathering of my friends and they were so helpful and accomodating to what I was looking for. They even made amazing suggestions that made my get-together even better. Also, the bar staff is so friendly and kind — they really made the day so much brighter and more energetic. Taking one step into the bar you're greeted with lovely decor and a hallway that invites you into the main bar area. The bathrooms are beautiful and spacious, it's hard to stop staring at the wallpaper and some of the art that's in there. At the back, there's an outdoor area that overlooks greenery that is so peaceful. If it's not obvious already, we'll definitely be going back!
Stayed here on our wedding night as a close to home getaway. We had a great time, loved being able to text the front desk for help, and the drinks and food are awesome! The view and overall treehouse feel was the most exceptional part for sure. We felt so secluded even though we were only 15 minutes from home. As expected the food and drinks are on the pricey side, and I wish they offered a small discount to guests staying at the hotel. But it was all worth the money and we plan to come back next year for our anniversary!
WOW! I cannot say enough about the Ruby Hotel and Bar. Just minutes away from the heart of downtown Round Rock, it provides an atmosphere that brings people together for fun and relaxation. The coolest thing about it is you have access to the amazing bar and patio without having a reservation at the hotel. Cole and Sarah are amazing to work with and will make you feel at home in this cozy oasis.

The Ruby is awesome! We had our wedding and reception at the Ruby House and stayed the night in one of the suites and it was a great experience all around! The suite was amazing with a huge shower and bath and the bed was super comfy. All our guests commented on how cool the Ruby was, great vibe and decor and beautiful location. The food and drinks were great and the servers were all awesome, very accommodating. Heaven, the Sales & Events Manager, made event planning so easy and was always available to make sure everything went smoothly. Can't wait to stay again on our first anniversary and relive the experience!
