Response to the owner:LOL oblivion is blessing, I guess. If the food that I've tasted yesterday was made fresh, you probably shouldn't serve food at all. Or get a better chef who can actually cook. And take the criticism as a starting point to improve; chances are that someone who doesn't like your food is right ;)Never again!!!We came in for lunch and it was by far the worst British-style food that I’ve had in a while. Definitely the worst fish and chips of my life. It was all reheated or microwaved, the fish was soggy and completely tasteless (not even seasoned with salt!), the chips also soggy and no flavor whatsoever. My husband’s dish was the same: frozen and reheated. We left very annoyed, having paid almost $50. Outrageous!!!

High quality food, with great portions, friendly service, and an amazing beer selection. It was a lazy weekend and my wife didn't feel like making dinner, so we thought we would try something a little different, so we gave The Kenney Fort Pub a try.As you walk up, the first thing you realize is that the place is huge for a strip mall restaurant. We were greeted by a friendly gentleman with an English accent and, even though there were only four of us he offered us his largest booth table out of kindness. Once we were seated, we were introduced to Jacob, a very confident young man who you could tell likes his job.As an "appetizer" of sorts, we tried the beer flight. It's a beer sampler they serve on what is basically a cutting board with divots carved out to look fancy with the glasses. We've never had that before and we didn't know what beers to get, so Jacob kindly queried our normal beers and based on our answers selected the beers he thought we would like the best. He did a wonderful job because my wife and I enjoyed each and every one.For our entree, my wife ordered their fish and chips, the kids shared a ten inch personal pizza, and I got the Kenney Fort burger. When the food arrived the first thing you notice is how well done everything looks, and that they don't skimp on the potions. Often, when you buy things off the kids menu the cooks don't seem to care about the quality, usually working out to food that tastes like leather. The pizza, even though it's a kids' meal, looked pretty well prepared. My burger was one of the best burgers I've ever had. It tastes like they cooked it over an open fire, and they're flexible about cooking the burger as you request, as opposed to a corporate chain restaurant. My wife's fish was very moist and flakey. She loved it. The cherry on top was after we were done Jacob told us that the kids' meal came with a scoop of ice cream. Again, the food didn't disappoint. It was a very high quality vanilla which the kids adored. All in all it was a great experience, and the only reason I wouldn't rate this higher would be due to the small menu and that you can tell they fry the fish in the same oil as the onion rings. Both aren't really a big deal to me but it might matter to others. If I could give this place four and a half stars I would. I would say if you want great beer, service, and food, come on down to The Kenney Fort Pub and have a great time!

Glad I've found an excellent British Pub in our area.Started off with a hummus appetizer, which was creamy and flavorful. The nan was toasty but soft.Followed that up with Bangers and Mash, which was excellent. Sausage was flavorful but not tough. Mash was perfect consistency with good taste.

It's British food, so don't expect really good food. They allowed smoking in the outside area and this affected ours and others meal. One couple got up and went inside to eat. I would look for another eating establishment. PART 2: So, I got a response from the owner and I have adjusted the review downward because of his rude response. I will never waste my time with this place again and I hope this review helps others make an informed decision. In his response, he accused me of hiding behind a "keyboard" but of course he doesn't know the facts, so here they are: (1) The other couple notified the wait staff of the smoking in the outside area. The wait staff refused to engage the smokers, and instead ask them to move inside, so couple was compeled to go inside to get away from the smoke. My group stayed outside but was affected and did not appreciate the smoke. Wait staff - STRIKE 1. (2) I did not pick the place, my son did for his 27th Birthday. Just a real BAD choice. Owner - STRIKE 2 (3) Folks, it's British food! STRIKE 3. Go to one of the new restuarants in the area and don't waste your time here. Wish you all the best!

I love this British pub! Great fish and chips, awesome Sunday roast and fabulous breakfast. Great Blood Mary, Paloma and their beer selection is also fine and dandy! Tim the owner is a Round Rock local and an all round great chap! Do yourself a favor, support your local pub and eat some good grub!

This place is amazing. Some of the best breakfast food I’ve ever had. Each item had so much flavor and was delicious. I cannot recommend this place enough. The English breakfast was 10/10.

Bangers and mash were amazing along with the scotch egg! The tikki marsala was alright but wouldn’t order again. The waiter was nice and friendly and helped me decide my meal and it was a great call

Very awesome British pub. The dish and chips were huge and very fresh. The ‏ cauliflower bites were fantastic. Service was fast and friendly.

The food is excellent. Great beer selection. Fish on the fish and chips is perfectly cooked with a great crunch. Bangers and mash are delicious with a tasty onion gravy. Sticky toffee pudding is a must try! Service was also spot on, very friendly and just the right amount of checking in.

The peas on the bangers and mash needed a little salt the dish was very nice over Allen jo oted . Fish and chips were crunchy and a nice portion but bland needed the sauces provided with it . The scotch egg was very nice enjoyed very much . The garlic bread I couldn't taste any garlic. Overall enjoyed food
