We only had 10 people in our party, the restaurant was not full, and it took over an hour to prepare our meal. First, the kid order of chicken nuggets was practically burnt, I tried to place my fork with knife to cut up the nugget into pieces and the fork could not pierce the chicken. The steak and shrimp I ordered - the steak NOT cooked to order- was overly well done. We returned our food and it NEVER came out again. We waited over 15 minutes to get our newly cooked steak to try and eat with family. when our waitress came to tell us about the status of our food, my mom and I decided to cancel our order and we left hungry after being there for over 2 hours. The bean taco came with Bean and Cheese and the tortilla was served cold to my toddler son. The alcoholic drink was NOT served to order - the Cazuela was just not good and did not have the orange juice and lime juice in it as explained in the menu. For the dreadful, awful, eating experience, I plan on never returning, especially after leaving hungry. Save your money and eat anywhere better. It ruined our celebration and left all 10 people in our party with a disappointed meal. Not a good way to end our day!
We've been going here ever since it opened back we lived in the neighborhood right behind it. We live 15 minutes down the road and still have this place on our list!We have tried numerous plates and they've all been delicious and the service has been great every time.Our most recent visit we tried the green chili steak burrito and the green chili enchiladas. Amazing sauce with just a hint of sweetness and spice!Another go to favorite we always get for the table regardless of what everyone has is their shrimp quesadillas. Big and moist shrimp! Most places overcook their shrimp but not here!
Tried to dine here this evening for the 3rd time. Both prior times were poor experiences. Thought we'd try one more time. Prices were high here to begin with, but were greeted by sign on the door that due to higher cost of food they had to raise there prices.Still though we'd give it a try. My wife told hostess we needed a table for 2. There were 2 empty booths in the first section and I asked if we could be seated in a booth. Hostess took us to a end table in the back that was right in the middle of all foot traffic. She said they had sections and this section was to be seated next. I told hostess that wasn't acceptable. I asked again about sitting in one of the 2 empty booths. She just said, Sorry.I again told here that wasn't acceptable3 and we left.I immediately called the restaurant and asked to speak to the manager. I explained what had happened and she asked when did this occur. I repeated that it just happened and we'd just left. I told the manager they lost out on willingly paying customer.We won't be back.

Such friendly, professional staff! Masks worn, plenty of booth seating. Delicious food, large portions & reasonably priced. Loved the enchiladas with Carne guisada! Enjoyed a Mexican martini (I suggest splitting it with someone, large shaker). We were treated to a birthday song by the staff (they made it so much fun!) as well as soppapias.
I guess I should of known better not to get food again at this place when there was gnats at the dinning area from a prior visit. Went through the drive thru this morning and didn't find out until later there was a fly in my drink. Gross! Try to call them and they go straight to voicemail.
Went for first time for Sunday breakfast. Hash browns were from a store bought frozen patty, home fries looked like they were from bag of frozen potatoes, bacon overcooked, coffee mediocre, pancakes not hot & took waitress long time to bring butter & syrup so they got cold. All TVs were on a church program. Asked waitress to change at least one TV to sports but she apparently forgot because the church program was on still. Would not recommend for breakfast. Will return to try drinks & appetizers.
We were there the night of December 22nd , 2021 . The hostess skinny girl,black hair, and glasses , was very rude and wasn't very welcoming. There was many empty tables and she decided to keep us waiting outside without offering a courtesy drink or an appetizer due to waiting for such long period. Also the bartender was such a rookie had no idea of what he was doing. We asked the hostess why the long wait and she said they were short staff and because there was no manager. Again she was rude and not very polite as soon as we turned around she started gossiping to her coworkers about us and made the whole vibe uncomfortable , so we just left. I never write a bad comment but this was one of out favorite restaurant in Round Rock. Is been proven that bad management and bad staff can ruin such beautiful restaurant.

Great salsas! The flour tortillas are home made & I could eat them alone. I had the steak fajitas for 2 and the best I’ve had in Austin, but it’s a LOT of food. Great beverages too! A must try!
