I want to give this place another try because it was just way too hot even though in all the the entrees. I ordered the medium but yeah it's like I wish I could bring the entrees that I ordered that I couldn't eat and my wife and I couldn't eat and exchange them for you know more mild ones Don't get me wrong. I like hot stuff but I want to be able to be able to eat without a blowtorch going in my mouth
We usually order take out from here and it is delicious. This time, we decided to eat at the restaurant. I probably would have given a higher rating, but the roach crawling in the wall next to our table sort of ruined the experience.
Definitely the best Indian food. No fancy atmosphere. But if you’re into authentic good Indian food this is the best. We’ve been coming here for years.
I normally order the chicken tikka masala, garlic naan and samosas. I can literally eat the tikka masala every week and I have for the past three weeks. These are some of the best samosas I have ever had and I really love the sauces that come with them. There is a spicy sauce and a sweet one. I smother those bad boys in sauce. NOM NOM!
Minus 1 rating if I had the option:We were visiting Austin we were all hungry and this was the closest restaurant to us. After arriving there we realized that this is a Run down restaurant. We didn’t had a lot of time in hand so even if I changed my mind not to eat there but we were in a fix and had to eat there.OBSERVATION: Uncleaned plates , Uncleaned plastic glasses, hair served with samosa ,THUMB RULE : Never eat at a restaurant attached to a Grocery store . Worst hygiene,IN THE PICTURES : Rim of the glass with a clear strand of whatever , Black sooth on tissue paper used to vipe platesGOOD POINT: Saag paneer tasted good
Delicious Indian dishes, one of my favorite Round Rock restaurants. Also the grocery has some great hard to find items!
Omg!!! Roaches,Roaches, Roaches didn’t close the restaurant when I notified them and pointed to the roaches crawling from under our table , a guy ( waiter or owner) stepped on one of the three roaches , we ran as fast we could out of the building.
The chicken biryani was ok, but the tikka masala was too sweet with very little meat. Preparation was fast, but food not delivered in airtight containers so it gets cold fast.
I never leave reviews, but this place has been so consistently great that I stopped eating my Tikka Masala to post this. Tejis is incredible. I have ordered from them millions of times via door dash, and not once was it ever bad/wrong/cold. I order every week. The chicken tikka masala is unreal. Love it!!!
Oh dear. Asked for an Indian beer which was on display in chiller. Not for sale..out of date? Why display? Had the chicken took a masala. Really did follow the poor man's recipe of cambells condensed tomato soup plus some bits of chicken and some spices. Awful. Looks like they are closing down. Good!
