I stopped at the University Smoothie King, today , Saturday April 23, @ 6:45. The store was empty.I walked in and was greeted and told we will be right with you. The girl proceeded to continue make smoothies, I can only guess for a to go order. I stood waiting and she never proceed to help me. After waiting for five minutes, totally being ignored, I asked are you alone. She stated the other person is washing dishes, and the person in the back confirmed that he was washing dishes by yelling from the back yes! Again, neither bothered to serve me.. I finally walked out and neither one of them seem to care. I asked for the manager number and was told they didn’t know it. They both had the ,”it doesn’t matter attitude”, and it didn’t matter because they didn’t offer to take my order! Such poor customer services.
Walked in to order two smoothies around 315. Male working was on his cell phone making a personal call. Told me I had to wait and I stood there while he spoke with someone about being hired for a new job, in front of a customer waiting to place orders. Really poor look.
I placed a curb pickup order through the app and parked outside at the pickup spot for almost 15 minutes. I tried calling the store but the phone number they provide on the pickup sign and on the web was a fax number! I had to go inside and pick it up myself after paying tip thinking I would be picking it up from my car ☹️
Would not accept cash. For a place that looks like they need customers they should not turn away money. On top of the fact they told us they didntopen the drawer after they started the smoothies which lead to them throwing away the smoothies and refusing cash at exact change.

I am so angry right now, after visiting this Smoothie King at 455 University Blvd. Suite 300 in Round Rock, TX. Brayden (employee's name shows on reciept) was helping me. I have never been to a Smoothie King before and didn't know in advance that the price of a smoothie would be more than $5 each. I am struggling financially but had already promised my wife and 3 kids smoothies today. I asked Brayden if there were any coupons available online. He said "maybe". I looked it up but then caught the marketing in store. The messaging stated that if I download the app, I can receive a free smoothie. I told Brayden that I was in the process of downloading for the free smoothie. As part of that process, I saved my debit card information on the app. I then asked him how to find the coupon on the app. He told me that he can scan the barcode on the app. I let him. I asked if that showed him my available coupon and simultaneously found the coupon section of the app. There I had to hit a little button to activate the free smoothie. He then handed me my reciept and I told him I was ready to pay. He then looked at me confused. Apparently when he scanned my app, he recieved paymeny automatically. He decieved me into thinking that he was helping me find the coupon by scanning when in actuality he was charging me, prior to clicking activate on my free smoothie coupon. I asked him to reverse the charge and charge me after the coupon was applied. He said "there's nothing I can do". I am so livid. He knew what I was doing standing there for 10 minutes before finalizing my order and payment. He just dipped into my kid's Christmas. Yes, $6 would have helped me tremendously. I couldn't afford the smoothies I came in for, to begin with. And, now I'm late to deliver them to my kids... because I'm angry and writing this review. If I'm going to be served by young adults and teenagers, I expect them to know how to reverse a transaction and ensure that their customers don't leave angered, minimally. I will never visit here again.
I ordered 3 smoothies online. When we came to pick them up we were told they had absolutely no ingredients and couldn’t make our smoothies. When we asked to get a refund, the worker there at the time told us that they didn’t have the ability to give refunds and to leave my name and number so that the manager could call us the next day to give a refund. I was never called and when I tried calling the store, the line wasn’t working. If you want a smoothie, go to the Smoothie King on Palm Valley instead.
Was simply a bad experience. The menu is extensive and when I asked questions I basically got eyes rolled at me. After patiently waiting for 25 minutes for one smoothie, and seeing 2 people who ordered behind us get theirs, I asked if everything was okay. I was surprised by the answer. He said that they don't go in order of who ordered first but just grab orders and make at random. Interesting system! Definitely will not be back.
Seriously! The guy who worked today had some bad attitude. He pretty much threw the cup at me. I am laughing because this is too bad that it's funny. Jokes on you smoothie king.
Perfect mid afternoon pick me up! Staff at this location were friendly and quick, great experience today!
