Front of store needs a remodel. Actual donuts were pretty good, I would just say if you are looking for frosting and sprinkle donuts… they did not have a selection. They had to make them. Need to have more frosting covered with rainbow sprinkles for kids. Jalapeño kolaches, can’t really taste the jalapeños.
We showed up about 10:45-11:00am and the shelf of donuts as you walk in was almost completely empty. Now , I gave this a 5 * rating , it very well could , and probably should , be a 4 * rating. But let me explain. . . We are a family of 4 and all got large coffees ( made fresh for us so we had to wait a minute ) all got breakfast tacos, all a different way . Every single one of us loved it. I also want to mention the 2 donuts we did get were also beyond delicious. SisterNlaw got a blue berry one and myself a chocolate iced one. The chocolate they use on the donut made it different in the best kind of way. Seems this business is doing far better than expected and maybe in a little over their heads in a good way. Too many customers and not product on the shelf. 5* because it was delicious and I hope others go there and this business can grow.
Sarena’s Breakfast & Donuts has been a staple in Round Rock for years, and it’s about time I write about it. I love the kolaches here and the fresh donuts. Breakfast tacos are made to order. It’s a busy place on the weekends but not that bad. Get some goodies from Sarena’s.
The place up the street may be world famous, but this mom and pop is the best we have found in town. Great basic selection and made to order breakfast tacos. I would add a picture, but the donut never lasts that long.
Jalapeño Kolaches are Delicious!
We moved to round rock recently and have been trying a new donut place every weekend—Sarena’s is the place we compare all others to! So yummy, very friendly staff. Best kolaches I’ve had so far, and I love love love the sour cream donuts. I’m still trying to find a place in town that sells a buttermilk bar (Sarena’s, could you give it try??!), but other than lack of that specific variety, Sarena’s is really really awesome.
If you're from Round Rock or surrounding area you know about our famous "Round Rock Donuts" just down the road, but Serena's is a close second to being a classic Round Rock staple. I am 30 and have been coming here since Highschool! Always friendly service with fresh donuts, tacos, and breakfast sandwiches. 9 times out of 10 they throw is a complimentary goodie that never goes unnoticed--thank you!!

Absolutely the best donuts on the planet!! They are delicious and melt in your mouth. You have to grab your favorite and a glazed donuts or three. Other donuts are not worth eating anymore!!
We stopped there this morning for kolaches & breakfast tacos, and it didn't not disappoint. The kolaches were delicious, and the tacos were bomb....The sweet man at the counter is so friendly & really nice he even gave me treats to take for the road since we're not from around. Thank you!!! ??
