Everything we ate was delicious and our waitress was very attentive. We ordered 1 lb ribs, Turkey, and brisket, 2 salads, macaroni and cheese and waffle fries and shared it between the 4 of us.
Went for the first time today at lunch time. Lively atmosphere. I ordered the Brisket/Sausage platter and 1/2 pound of pork ribs. Platter includes beans, Cole slaw, bread, potato mash. The Brisket was terrible. They purposely cut all the crust from it (that's where the flavor is), it was a bit dry too. Ribs were decent but needed BBQ sauce, the best ribs don't need external sauce. Sausage was great. Very dry tasteless cole slaw. Potato mash portion was miniature but tasted good. Very small portion of beans. Pickles served thick and long instead of thin and round. Service was great and fast. I wish they would make a bigger effort on the presentation. It's very uncomfortable eating out of 4 different plates. My total cost was $39 including a coffee....I'm glad I tried them but I will not return.
I'll make this quick and simple because we just wanna eat and have no time for an autobiographical review, right? ?Parking is a good size ✅ you shouldn't have a hard time finding a spot. This place has good meat and sides! ✅Not too busy ✅Friendly staff ✅Affordable ✅Indoor and outdoor seating ✅No covid restrictions ✅Don't forget to bring your wallet!Enjoy! ?
We sat outside, it was a relaxing atmosphere. The servers were on top of everything. They have the best BBQ ribs, brisket, sausage, etc. And the deserts are wonderful! There's plenty of room for kids to run around while adults visit.
We wanted to have an authentic, original yet delicious Texan BBQ meal, well we were took by this amazing place by our relatives and we couldn't be happier! You can tell how authentic it is by the smokey smell just by crossing the main door you're welcomed by hanging meats and a huge smoker.Needless to say, it was so tasty and portions were huge, willing to come back in the near time soon.
The food was amazing beans were ok. But highly suggest going. I ordered the Thurman Special. I suggest getting the wet brisket as the lean brisket was a little dry for my liking. THEIR BBQ SAUCE IS HEAVEN. I regret not buying enough of their sauce to bath in but I will be ordering some online if they have an online store. Ended up spending ~$80 for a family of 4 which is a good price for BBQ. Big portions pork ribs were fall off the bone left feeling full plus has leftovers. FYI they have waffle fries and chicken tenders for kids by request only
Been there lots of times good is good would recommend though. Dinner comes on plates now a lot of food Not like it use to be few years ago atmosphere is great I personally go away still hungry that's just me got get it enjoy!
I grew up in Texas, so I know good bar-b-que. This was only average. It was take-out and the server threw in a 22% tip for herself for walking the bag to me for a total of about 5 steps from the pit. I won't be going back.
Upon entering the aroma is heavenly! Clean on the inside and outside. The service is good, a feeling of southern hospitality. The portion sizes of food will fill you up. However, the food has an acquired taste. I had a certain taste in mind when I comes to brisket and sausage.
First time here. Visiting from Chicago. Worth the wait. The Thurman meal gave me a portion of the sausage, brisket and pork rib. Brisket wasn't favorite. The peach cobbler with ice cream was terrific.
