To expand the list of new places to try, we picked Razzoo's Cajun Cafe near IKEA for lunch. We started up with "Rat Toes" (Shrimp and crab stuffed jalapeños) as appetizers, then I ordered Cajun Tricky Fish as the main dish. The stuffed jalapeños were nicely fried and had a batter coating that was not too thick or thin. Jalapeño was definitely spicy but had a good flavor overall. If I had to complain about something, I think the stuffing was on the low side and could have been a little more. The Cajun Tricky Fish was a blackened tilapia topped with crawfish étoufée over a bed of dirty rice and it was fantastic. In summary, I was very happy and pleased with the restaurant. I strongly recommend it.
Never had Cajun food before, but this place was delicious! Got the Combo skillet so I could try some of everything, and loved it.Went on a pretty slow Monday, which was nice. Servers were great & food came out super fast. My only big complaint is that it is quite pricey, which sadly means I’ll probably only get to visit once or twice a year rather than adding it to the roster.
Good Cajun themed restaurant, stopped for lunch on a dad/daughter day out. Definitely a Cajun theme going on, not crowded on a weekday. Crawfish fondue was something I have never tried but found I really enjoyed. Crispy shrimp and Crawfish two way was good with plenty to eat. My daughter had the shrimp and Catfish combo that she enjoyed as well. Staff was friendly and observing covid mask guidelines. Some outdoor shaded seating available.
Razzoo's Cajun Cafe is surprisingly wonderful place for dining.Staff is very friendly and food is especially good. The décor is fun to look at. Slightly pricey but a great atmosphere.
It was what we expected good food and great drink with the (Swap Thing )??
food was great ? waitresses was friendly & kind I would recommend to family & friends
The Crawfish Etouffee was good. Took a very long time to get and was not really hot temperature wise. Overall flavors were on point though. The peach pecan bread Pudding was really good also, definitely a sharable portion. Cocktails are decent, definitely a nice place for dinner and drinks with friends or family. The downside was the table smelled like old mop water.
20 minute wait for a table when tables were empty. 30 minute wait for food. Food wasn't even hot. Spicy crawfish was flavorless. Just tasted like salt. Garlic bread didn't taste like butter. Tasted like old oil was spread on it. Wasn't edible. Overall disappointing meal. On a positive note the waiter was very friendly and apologetic about the wait and the food quality.
When I went here the food was actually pretty good, better than some of the other times that I went. But also that means that it's a little hit or miss sometimes. The frozen drinks are great and for earlier in the crawfish season the price was actually not too bad. I would recommend going here, but temper your expectations.
I love everything about Razzoo's Cajun Cafe, all of them and I've been to several. The food is amazing, the atmosphere is terrific, and the drinks are out of this world! The service is top notch too.
