As soon as I walked in to pick up my to-go order, I was given ugly looks by a waitress and the owner. Guess they had a problem with me picking up my order in pajamas? Then as I am paying I ask for a side of lime to which the owner REFUSES to give me any. I tell him it is no problem at all to charge me for it, and yet he very rudely refuses to even sell me any even after I offer to pay for it. HORRIBLE customer service from staff and owner. Then I get home and open my food to find a large hair on one of the shrimps in my meal. Regardless of the EXTREMELY poor customer service, the noodle dish I ordered had absolutely NO flavor or sauce. Over the phone I asked for a bowl of *just* pho BROTH and he told me it would be $8!?!? Overall, terrible customer service and bad food that is way overpriced. Other reviews mentioning bad customer service for mediocre food with high prices are absolutely spot on. Don’t eat here.

Really disappointed in the service. I was looking forward to their vermicelli and I love their veggie spring rolls with the crunchy wonton in it, but was unable to because the waitress completely ignored me. She came to take our order, I ordered first, then my boyfriend, then I ordered the spring rolls. The lady comes out with eggs rolls and I inform her that’s not what I ordered. She told me that yes, I ordered the egg rolls and not the spring rolls. Instead of her possibly making a mistake, she told me I was wrong about what I ordered. She then brings my boyfriend his soup, then the spring rolls. Shortly after, she brings my boyfriends entree. I thought it was weird she wouldn’t bring the entrees out together, so I waited. I waited 10-15 minutes until I asked where my vermicelli was. She told me I didn’t order vermicelli. Again, instead of admitting to a mistake, she told me I was wrong. I’ve liked this restaurant in the past for takeout. But I will not dine in at an establishment where the waitress gaslights the customers. So all I ate for dinner was 2 spring rolls. So disappointed I was treated that way.

Consistent simple, traditional vietnamese food. A large menu that doesn't suffer from too much variety. They have crepes, which are harder to find. I've never had bad service.

Been coming here for over 10 years. Always great food, and one of the best Vietnamese places in RR.

Delicious Vietnamese food on my trip to Austin. Stop by on your way and support Pho Viet. Food is quality and much of meat .

There are many places to get Pho and not all are good or consistent, this is one of those solid places. Today was no different, i come here occasionally, but sadly my first post for them. Every time I come here I get good quality food, and prices are still cheap. Usually i get the no.1 Pho combo, Bun Bo Hue, Pho Xao (thick crunchy rice noodles in sauce), or egg roll noodle vermicelli. I highly recommend trying this place if you want some good Vietnamese food.

This is authentic Vietnamese food. Everything we had was excellent. My wife stated it reminded her of her aunts cooking.

Beef bun & chicken cabbage salad

I have ordered Pho tai here many many times. Tonight I thought I would try Pho Hoang to see if theirs is any better. When I got home with my to go order I quickly found out that it definitely was not. There was this very tiny portion of vermicelli, half as many bean sprouts, onion, jalapeno, and no siracha sauce. The meat was a little smaller portion and the broth was just okay. Pho Viet is definitely my spot for Pho and should be yours too.

So delicious, super nice and efficient staff, food is always consistent. I’ve never had a bad experience there. I’m so happy it’s close to my house :)
