Lucky for us there was a "waiting list", so we found seats at the Bar for our group of 4. Even though Janel stayed super busy, she seemed very attentive to all around her. The cocktails were perfect and all our orders were correct. The whole staff behind the Bar worked as a team. We had a great time and I hope the Management appreciates the quality of employees they have. Thanks again.
Sat at the bar, male bartender wouldn’t acknowledge us. Went to the front to see how long the wait was, 15 minute wait, figured that’d be faster than waiting for the bartender. We get seated, wait another 10 minutes for our drinks (a tea and a water) I figured will all this waiting the food had to be awesome. Nope, it sucks just like the cell service. We won’t be back!
A month ago we had a problem with our to-go order. Came in today since we were kid-free for a few hours. I brought it up to the manager Pat and he took care of it! I can tell that they pride themselves in ‘getting it right’ and I am really glad that I talked with him about it. My server was on top of the refills even though the restaurant was super busy and the fajitas, margarita and Sopapillas were all delicious! A great date night with wifey!
Best food and service I've come across in any establishment. The food is fresh, tasty. The drinks are delicious and reasonably priced. Catch happy hour for a large iced strawberry margarita. You won't regret it. The staff and servide are knowledgeable, helpful and prompt. I wish we had a Lupe Tortilla in Sydney, Australia.
2 hour wait when told an 1.5. Kept being told we were next three people on the wait list were seated before us. If I sit here or at home wait should be the same I should be in the queue. Ridiculous !!!!!

Please note! I am rating my dining experience - not the meal we had. Went to Lupe’s Restaurant to have dinner and a margarita and watch the Kentucky Derby at the bar. As we drank our margarita and waited for dinner, we never received the chips and salsa that the waiter/bartender said he would bring. He finally brought the chips and the bean appetizer and I asked if we could have some salsa. He said that they were out of salsa and they were making it and it would be ready in 30 minutes. I have eaten Mexican food 1000 times or more at many different restaurants and NEVER has a Mexican restaurant run out of salsa. Although the fajitas were quite good, they would have been better with salsa on them. I spoke to the manager and expressed my discontentment and basically said he was sorry and just brushed off my complaint. This was my favorite Mexican restaurant at one time but this past episode caused a drastic decline in my opinion of this place. Unacceptable and frustrating dining experience.
I ordered the puffy tacos with extra cheese, rice and charro beans. Maybe I should have added queso to the tacos. A bit dry without it. The beans needed a little more flavor. But the food was good and I really enjoyed the atmosphere.
Lupe's was an awesome experience. The environment is inviting. The staff is polite. The service did seem a bit slow but maybe I was hungry. ?. Either way the food was outstanding, definitely one my top five in recent memory. I will return.
Top notch Tex Mex in convenient Round Rock location. This location also has a nice patio. Recently enjoyed their Tacos Al Carbon and Enchiladas. Both were excellent. The beans that are served with your initial chips and salad rock as does their guacamole.
