We visited La Margarita restaurant after a couple of months from our last visit. This time, I decided to put aside items that I normally order, which are either Caldo de Res (Beef soup) or Pescado Parrilla (Grilled fish), and go for a chicken dish called "Rio Grande" that consists of two chicken enchiladas, two chicken tacos and charro beans plus rice. The dish was delicious as the shredded chicken in the enchiladas and tacos were very tasty; the rice was good but I think the charro beans might have been a little overcooked. Overall it was a good dish but I think I will stick to my usual choices next time.

Excellent food, family atmosphere, great service. A local favorite. The very generous serving of Chunky Guacamole is an excellent appetizer.

First time coming here. Sat in bar area. The El Don margarita was very good. Perfectly balanced. I ordered chicken enchiladas. Menu said "chopped chicken", but it came with shredded chicken, which I really don't like. It didn't help that it was super chewy also. The chips and salsa was very good. And I recommend the queso. Very tasty. Id go back.

Y’all the food was a disappointment for the most part and I’m so sad. The quesadillas with cheese were bomb, they’re great I’d order those again but everything else was not good. I didn’t even touch my salad, the dressing was just mayo with lime and it was gross, the presentation of it wasn’t good either, pic included in my review. My husbands food sucked, he said it tasted bad and he’s usually never picky! Won’t be coming back :(

Good food and plenty of it. The price isn't bad for the quantity. You might consider sharing a plate or just take half of it home. This place is very popular, expect to wait at dinner time! Service was fast and friendly, especially considering how crowded it was. It's a family restaurant so it's pretty noisy.

Not too shabby of a place. They had really good food. I got an enchilada, and though the sauce did try to come back up later for a second run, it tasted amazing. The table was a little bit dirty - the seat beside the one I was sitting in had little pieces of broken chip in it - but other than that, the table was clean, most seats were clean, the dishes that they supposedly brought out clean didn't look dirty, and the toilets were also clean. Even the ceilings, when I looked up, were clean, which shows dedication.

Been a while since we were here and it is better now than ever! The Mexican Martini with Don Julio anejo and serranos is my absolute favorite. They have good guacamole, jalapeno poppers, and enchiladas are to die for. Hand made tortillas are wonderful. Many vegetarian selections and fantastic service.

AMAZING restaurant!! Their decor were tasteful, as was their food. The Shrimp Fajitas were to die for!And surprisingly, they had a massive, super tasty burger on the American section of the menu. The waitstaff were very friendly and professional.Definitely coming here regularly.

We just had a speedy and delicious lunch at La Margarita. Alicia was our server. She did great. I appreciate her helping us keep away from the delicious chips and tortillas. We are trying to eat more “keto.” She had them held off the table so we didn’t feel like cheating. We recommend the combo fajitas (or just steak). So good. Thank you again for the great service!

I have eaten Mexican food all over the world. This was by far one of the saddest experiences for such a highly rated restaurant. There's an unspoken rule, if you go to an ethnic restaurant and no one of that ethnicity is eating there...run. ??
