Extremely popular and busy store. People were streaming in the whole time we were there. As busy as it was, the very friendly owner and six staff observed were handling the lines of people efficiently and producing the orders in a timely manner. As dine in customers left a staff member was on the cleanup. All in all a very well run business. The food was fresh and looked great. My wife had a small Roast Beef sandwich with all the toppings. The bread is delicious, but the bread to filling ratio was heavy on the bread. She also found that the peppers overpowered the flavor of the main fillings, so basically she felt she was eating bread and peppers.I had a small Philly Chicken Cheese sandwich with all the toppings. Once again the peppers overpowered the subtle flavor of the chicken, cheese and mushrooms, so next time we visit we'd do without the peppers so we can taste the main fillings.Another issue was the sandwich had so much liquid in it that the bread ended up very soggy. I think the peppers needed draining before being ladled on.I will update this at a later time when we revisit.

I ate here a year ago today, and there hasn't been a day that I haven't thought about that sandwich. I live in DFW, and my mom and I were, sadly, in the Austin/Round Rock area for a funeral. The sandwich I had here was the highlight of my trip. I've wanted to drive down from Dallas all year, but I haven't been able to. The mustard and mayo combination was phenomenal, and the sandwich was so fresh. The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. My mom lived in Round Rock in the 90s, and this was one of her favorite places to go. She took me here on a nostalgic whim, and it's a core memory for me. I cannot wait for the day that I'm able to come back and eat another delicious sub!

I hate to give only two stars because I typically really like Goody's. I don't know what happened but the cheesesteak that I picked up tonight, I would not go back for another. It was very dry, there was a whole lot more bread than there meat. In fact, there was hardly any meat or cheese. I should have taken a picture because it was pitiful. I come from New Jersey (which actually has better cheesesteaks than Philly) so I am used to subs with so much meat that you need a fork to eat some of the meat and cheese before you can pick it up and eat it. After being here in Texas since 2015, I thought I finally found a place to get a decent cheesesteak. I guess my search continues.

Best subs I’ve ever had! I came here all the time When I was in driving school next door back in 2016. The subs are a bit more $ than your average well known sub place but it’s locally owned and so much worth it! I don’t live close by anymore, but I need to go back soon. Also best root beer I have ever had

The staff here are incredible. Very East coast family sub shop feel. The deli meat and bread were so fresh. The hardest part was deciding what to order. Will definitely be back. And recommend you do too! And they have Tasty cakes!!!

Still the Same after 5 years. Always Very Good Subs!

Wow, I absolutely loved this place. I got the Special and it was the bomb! The guy with pink and green hair was awesome at explaining all the options and the food was fresh and hot and the bread perfect!!! Definitely recommend over every other sub place!

We stopped into this little mom and pops sub shop and this will be the first of many visits. My boyfriend had the pastrami and I had the cheesesteak and we both regret not getting the large order because the food was so delicious. It was pretty busy for the lunch hour but they had our food out in no time (way under the estimated 15 min. wait)The owner was so sweet and kind when he served us our sandwiches, a real family vibe in this place. Thank you for a lovely lunch and service, it was wonderful to find this location.

Awesome customer service and great hot subs!

Great sandwiches. Kids and adults love it. Staff is always very nice.
