Stopped in today to get Chicken and broccoli, General Tso's chicken, and pan-fried dumplings. Ordered at the restaurant for takeout and the order was completed in less than 20 minutes! It was absolutely delicious. It wasn't greasy but still had a lot of flavors. The portion sizes were very generous. This is the best Chinese food in round rock.
OMG! First visit for incredible takeout. The fried rice with beef was so delicious that there were 3 of us sharing this dish and plenty of leftovers. My daughter was trying to figure out where to hide the leftovers in the fridge from the rest of us! The General taos dish is the best I've ever had. The egg roll was cooked to perfection and not greasy. The soups tasted different than we are used to, too sweet, not enough egg in the egg drop soup. We will be regulars anytime we visit Round Rock. We live too far away for more than a few visits per month. Thank you for the service we received. It's nice to be greeted by happy employees.
I was out of town for a week and got back and was craving Chinese food. I had read some reviews on Hao Hao Vietnamese and decided to give them a try. I ordered curry with shrimp, sesame beef and something I hadn’t had in decades, egg foo young with chicken. We were very pleasantly surprised with both the quality and quantity of food. We ordered everything with rice and ere very pleased. The sesame beef was pretty much as expected. The curry rice was full of flavor and not too spicy. The egg foo young was really excellent and a very large portion. They gave two “omelette patties“ with chicken and a sauce that was nicely flavored. I had placed the order online, and despite being dinner time, the order was ready when I arrived. Next time, I’m going to invite friends to join us for dinner at the restaurant!
We found a cockroach in our food! They refused to give us a refund because it was in the rice and not in the chicken. Not eating there anymore.Edit: they called me back and refunded my order, the manager was very understanding, however the cashier was very rude. Changing to 3 stars instead of one. The food is good but this was unacceptable
The portions are double. The food is decent. General Tso's chicken is my favorite.
We found this restaurant less than 1 year ago even though it has been around. The staff is always very friendly and helpful. In particular, we love egg fu young and this place makes it great! We've enjoyed other items like they hot and sour soup, general tso chicken and orange chicken. It has all been very tasty and always fresh. We they have it, the Hao Hao Calamari is very good.
Spring rolls were dry, day-old and stuffed w noodles and lettuce. Not worth the price of $7 for two.Wife's tea mug was stained with lipstick.Service was slow.Overall I would put this at a discount lunch placefor dinner I would go else where.
Very good food! We're big fans of their General Tso's Chicken, Spicy Crispy Tofu, and Shrimp Egg Foo Young. Highly Recommend.
The food was wonderful! I had the white meat Round Rock Chicken- so good!! The service was great, too!! My husband enjoyed the mushroom chicken.
Time to pickup order was 30 minutes but it was still 14 minutes more until the food was actually ready.The one entree was very hot but the combo fried rice, potstickers, hot and sour soup, and egg rolls were all lukewarm at best.I ordered extra spice on all the items I could and that didn't seem to happen. The food was rather bland in general. The General Tso's beef and the chicken wings were both soggy, not crisp fried.The hot and sour soup was very good and the only thing I would get again in the future.
