Food was good and tasted just like any other Golden Chick's food.Had a big problem with the very aggressive lady in a collared blue polo shirt that said Golden Chick on it (she appeared to be a manager possibly). I needed a water cup also to use with a supplement I need to take and to help reduce potential dehydration from whichever caffeinated drink I chose (much like other restaurants, they only have 1 or 2 drinks that are not caffeinated). When I asked this lady who was the cashier for me for a water cup, she acted aggressive and aggravated at me wondering why I need a water cup when I already had a cup to drink out of. She didn't wait for a response as I was attempting to reply and grabbed a water cup from the back.Next up was the ice machine. There was no ice in the machine so I had to let them know they were out of ice. I had to talk to the same lady in blue again and she again responded aggressively for some reason (I can't remember what she said), and as I was attempting to respond she interrupted me completely and said for me to give her my cup and that she would put ice in it. She seems like a really hard worker, which is good, but pretty rude and negative towards customers about every little request at the same time.It was at a pretty slow time of day. There were only 3 groups of customers inside and 1 or 2 cars in the drive thru at a time. It was between lunch and dinner time (usually a pretty slow time of day for most restaurants).I've worked at McDonalds before and I understand if things get tough and if you're feeling stressed. It can be a tough job. But you should not treat customers this way when they're asking nicely for something they need. It should not be treated as such an issue when a customer just needs very simple things that do not take too long. Unfortunately this lady seemed to act like every request was so much weight on her shoulders in a rude way...as if I was asking her to run 10 miles in 2 minutes or something. She was very rude about very simple things. If they don't pay enough and that's also an issue, I understand. But that shouldn't have such a negative effect on how you're treating customers also.The customer service was pretty bad. I'm usually never treated this way anywhere else. This was one of my worst experiences ever at a restaurant.

I love it when they offer the shrimp box of 20. They are large, breaded with panko and cooked perfectly with a bit of crispy crunch. A great deal.
Great customer service and good chicken what else is there to say. Spicy chicken is just chicken with some red powder thrown on top of it and it works. Battered fries would prob be better if they were fresh. Mash and country gravy is ok. The rotisserie chicken had great flavor bur it was not fresh so it was just ok. Might be a little pricey but I think the cost of everything is going up now anyways. Not my fav chicken but definitely a place to get your chicken fix.
It was terrible. Some of the tenders were not even edible. Fries were cold and the tea had a weird taste.
Family came in from out of town, this was the perfect spot to feed a lot of folks. We were proud to show off the goodness of Texas best chicken, Golden Chick. Service was fast and friendly. The food was fresh, hot, and yummy good as always ?
Love me some Golden Chick golden roast chicken. So much flavor when I'm looking for something not fried. Nice healthier alternatives that actually have flavor and their sides are pretty decent. This trip golden roasted chicken was really dry. This isn't usually the case might just be the location or time of day.
The fish was fried so good It didn't even make it out the parking lot before it was gone! Best fish I had in a long time! Only complaint is the wait it so long but with food this good I guess it's worth it!
My favorite fried chicken in the world!! Their rolls, fried okra and mashed potatoes are also to die for! So delicious and hot every time I stop by❤️
