Showed up at 10 pm on a Friday and they are blaring music so loud that you can barely hear and no one is dancing or jamming. It's not super packed either which would justify the loud music. There are plenty of tables and room in the place.I understand that the culture may be this way but this could have been a new hot spot for us because we love tequila and micheladas but in such a small place and so early in the night it could have been a little lower to be bearable at the time of night. For people that like the environment and culture but don't like loud music don't come. Not many people were eating so I am not sure if the food is good or not. I would like to try it during the day because I love authentic food. The drinks were amazing though!!

My wife and I've been here before during the week when there was low business so the service was great and the barbacoa tacos the Mrs had were good and the same for my burgers+curly fries. We went again for father's day at about 6 or so and had a few drinks (Raul's an awesome bartender) with our food. Once the karaoke team showed up we and another couple danced a bit. The music was good but once my wife went out to dance alone the owner (wide "cheeky fellow" of short stature to me) attempted to dance with her but the karaoke guy was smart and respectful enough to me to get him back to his seat and explain she was with me. He didn't like that so he asked me to "tell my woman" to stop and leave because of her dancing. Interesting how it was ok if he would've gotten to dance WITH her but Odin forbid that she can't do it by herself. I still tipped Raul well but this owner has issues. Never going back.

It is one of the worse tacos I had. Everything was very stale. Only good thing good was salsa. I would never recommend anyone this place.Order: Chicken Tacos and Torta.

I stopped by after a beautiful event, starving and wanting a good taco. I haven’t been in here since the previous taco place (which was wonderful) was bought out, and was delighted to find karaoke was in full swing!I made my order of two tacos and a cheeseburger (I am aware I shouldn’t order a burger at a place called El Takobar…but for reference, they also serve wings), however the bartender had to ask someone to translate. The lady that took my order was pleasant and assured me it would be out soon.I waited 30 minutes and had to ask where my food was and it took another 7 to receive it. I got home, opened the tacos, took a bite and it was horrible! The meat was dried out to the point of being crispy and super tough and was completely inedible! I threw them away. The burger that I asked to have no mayo with mustard, was filled with mayo, not a drop of mustard to be found, and no pickles. There was way more bun than meat and the whole experience was disappointing.I’m sorry, however I will not be giving this place a second chance.

awesome music!!! highly recommended

Very friendly and attentive wait staff and good food.

I love the character this place has. Absorb the murals.

BILINGUAL Staff. We had SO MUCH FUN. Latin music. New and old hits. Paloma drink and cocktail with tequila. The diner really good and tasty. New favorite night club in ROUND ROCK. RECOMMENDED

On Friday night (12/10/2021) service was really slow. There was only 3 of us and it took 20 minutes to get the drink order. It was another 20 minutes and the waitress came over to apologize and make the excuse that there was a big table in front of us. However, she didn't offer to freshen our drinks, or bring more chips. Twenty minutes after that, we walked out. It was very disappointing.

I love the place looks beautiful and clean, we enjoy our tacos and the karaoke was fenomal two of the member's of the restaurant song beautiful, I'll to go back for sure❤
