Absolutely, the worst Utimate Omelet/omelet I've ever had at any Denny's in my travels. The omelet's inside, meats and veggies were too watery and the outside too thin. I overheard a customer ask a server, how long has the cook been cooking? She replied, 25 years. Well if he's the same cook, who made my omelet he's awful. My server, can't recall her name, was polite and friendly. Restaurant needs a high power washing and scrubbing. As one reviewer put it...the food isn't consistent with other Denny's restaurants.
It was late night, not crowded, maybe 5 tables. We were seated after a 10 minute wait. We ordered an appetizer, then breakfast. Two tables that came in after us, received their food before us. After complaining, our food, which was good as expected, came out 10 minutes later. The waitress had no explanation, other than she wasn't sure how that happened. No explanation, no discount.
Is it a good place to get breakfast? According to my experiences so far, I would say yes! The overall quality of the meals is pretty good, practically what you would expect from a very well-known restaurant. The attention you will get from the waitress will surely be different almost every time, although, in general, I would say it’s a great attention. One of the things I would like to mention about this specific location is that the meals might take a bit longer than usual to be ready, according to what I was told, the Manager is already aware of the issue. But, at the same time, I would say it may be worth the wait, the meal you will get will leave you full, as they come very well served and in good quantities.A minor detail I’d also like to mention from this specific location is that the AC was not working properly, therefore, there were some hotter areas, as well as there were some cooler areas.Overall, a good place to go though!
Service was terrible. We waited too long to order, waited too long for food to arrive, was told she would be back with my pancakes, but I finished eating and still no pancakes. I finally asked for them and got them, but they were cold. I had to get up to request a coffee refill. When I checked out I was asked how was breakfast and I sad service was bad. She didn't apologize for poor service, just shrugged and said they are short staffed.It wasn't all bad, the ham and cheese omelet and hash browns were good and they gave me my veteran's discount when I requested it.
We came late one night for supper. Like everyone else, there was a shortage of staff. However, our waitress, Marcella, really shone that night. We had our food hot and delicious and a special strawberry treat. I commented those strawberry treats were the best I’ve tasted amongst several Dennys. Cooked to perfection and delicious. Well done!
I want to recognize this Awesome employee of Denny's in Round Rock Texas Ms. Reba. friendly, professional and just down home hospitality! if Denny's could clone this women's energy and passion, it would be great!
I had great friendly, service. The food was ok. Not consistent with other locations. What made it 3 stars was how dirty everything was. The front door mat with logo shows how the whole restaurant feels. Sugar holders not wiped down, back of bench seats had food stains. Underneath the mens urinal on the floor was gross. I recommend the owner hire out for a professional cleaning crew. It's a shame because it's a nice restaurant, money was spent to remodel it. Maybe this is why they were not busy and Cracker Barrel was packed.
Place needs new management and employees. Waited so long for a family of 5 to be seated in an empty restaurant. Finally got seated and order was taking but only came out to give drinks and after a hour still no food. Manager yelling at staff to do work. Waitress was terrible. After reading other reviews my questions is why are they still in business.

We went to Denny's and they took too long for our order and they didn't hear what we wanted and then I order a burger for my son but they put mustard when we asked for a burger with cheese and meat. We left but the kids didn't feel good
