Today I ate at CHINA WALL RESTAURANT, at 2000 S IH 35 Ste G4 Round Rock Texas 78681. This was the worst food that I have ever been served. I have eaten at several good Chinese and Japanese restaurant, and I loved the food. When they bring you the check there is 18% gratuity added. When I walked up front to pay the bill, I told the cashier the food was not good. She said nobody complain but you; there are three other customers in here and they did not complain. I looked around and those three customers had not been given their food. However, that does not matter, the fact is the food that I was served was awful. I gave the cashier a $50.00 bill, she gave me 35.00 back. After I had driven off, I realized that she did not give me the correct change, she should had given me $35.78. I called and spoke with the cashier, and she said we always round up when the customer gives us cash. I said I gave a tip of 18% and the food was lousy, you do not have the right to keep my change. She said, well the other customer does not complain about it. I said I gave a 18% tip for food that was not good, and you purposely keep my change. You kept .78 they I did not give you. She hung up on me. Do not eat at this place.
Staff is very friendly, always great service, and the food has always been great. Never had a bad experience. Been going there for about 5 years.
I’ve been going here for over 4/5 years now and they still have the best food hands down. A hidden gem! Their Pad Thai (I get tofu or chicken) is the best Pad Thai in the greater Austin area, I have tried so many other restaurants Pad Thai and it’s always a let down, because I compare it to here!Their portions are large, their prices are low, their food is out of this world, and they are super sweet- they once held the store open an extra 30mins for me to get a pickup order-what else can you ask for??
The food was good but I wasn't a fan of the way thru chopped their veggies. Big hunks instead of thin slices
The food was ok! But the food was so overpriced I mean come for 2 lo-Mein plates and a kids meal almost $70.00 that’s insane!! I will never coming back here anymore.CHECK YOUR CHECK BEFORE YOU PAY!!!!!
I was over charged and i end up getting sick from getting the sesame chicken. Place used to be really good but just is not the same. Be careful eating here because i wouldnt want anybody else to get ill.
Definitely has gone downhill. They used to have the absolute best pan fried dumplings! But the last two times (I gave them a second chance several weeks later) the dumplings appeared to be deep fried, and texture and fillings totally different. May well have been store bought, but I can get better frozen at HEB…Other food still decent, but this was my favorite appetizer. ?
We have eaten at China Wall twice while waiting for our room to open up at Escapeology next door. We ordered a few Chinese dishes and the Pho they have on their menu. The food came out very quickly and tasted delicious. We will eat here again if we arrive early to our escape room appointment.
I am here in Austin stying at the Hampton Inn about .5 miles away. I called to place the order. The person answering seemed to be very busy and rushing to get order and delivery information. She did explain everything and said the total would be 23.36. The delivery was fast and the food was hot. But the total bill was 28.36. I gave a 20% tip before reviewing the bill. Turns out there was a 5 dollar delivery charge that was not mentioned. The food is good and hot. Just be careful and review the bill before paying. Besides that I will go back and order again.
Raspberry Tea AMAZING!!!!!!We came into town a little late, 30min before closing and yet they where still so friendly.The restaurant was very clean and you could tell the owners take pride In their business.The food was amazing!!!! If your thirsty I recommend the raspberry tea it was so refreshing. SPICY lo mein was so good and the kids loved the egg rolls. All the food was very good and fresh!Price: As a family of 5 when we eat out we usually hit around the 110$ price range and our bill was 85 so it was priced accordingly in my opinion. We tipped a little extra here I don't mind paying extra for amazing service and kind gestures.The service was just amazing the lady that works up front was so kind and showed my 4 year old and 10 year old the karaoke set up they had. Our waiter did amazing he was kind and prompt, he checked in and so did the owner. Overall this was a great experience so thank you great wall!
