This is the worst Chicken Express I’ve been to. I waited in the drive thru for 30 minutes with two cars in line. I paid about 16 bucks for the smallest tenders I’ve ever seen at a Chicken Express. The tenders were basically nuggets and I know this isn’t up to Chicken Express standards. I don’t know how this store is still in business, I will never return to this location. I would advise everyone to choose a different chicken option.
Waited in line with one car in front of me for +20mins. If it took them +20mins to serve that car i wasn't about to wait 20 more for my food. Nothing express about this chicken.
So I thought fast food was supposed to be fast!! I pulled up at the driver thru and was literally in line for almost an hour, I couldn't leave because I had someone in front of me and someone behind me, finally when I got to the speaker to order the guy was going to take my order and then said "oops sorry I'm not ready hold on".... really?? You guys need to either hire more people or re-train the people you have there.
This locatoin is close by my house, and we maybe go there about once a month to get tenders, and gizzards. We went today on 3/15, and order. They did not have the gizzards ready, which is understandable, cause not many people order gizzards. I noticed when I got them they really big. It was because they had just made them, and they were frozen and most likely clumped together when they fried them. Needless to say, I bit into one, and they were still raw/pink. They also forgot the mashed potatoes that go with the chicken. I called to give feedback, not complain, but when the young lady claiming to be the manager, said she was training a brand new staff, saw fit to interrupt me and talk over me, She tried to offer me more gizzards, and mashed potatoes, if I went back within 7 days. Sorry, I generally try not to make it habit of getting fried greasy foods all that often, and I'm not going back in 7 days. Then to be so rudely interrupted on the phone letting her know that this was unacceptable, just put this whole situation over the top. I get that you are short staffed, and traning. A lot of places are like that, but communication needs to remain professional. Won't be going back anytime soon, except for maybe a partial refund if I am able to communicate with the GM.
Very disappointed. I love chicken express mainly because of their spicy tenders. Went last night for dinner and after waiting five minutes to be acknowledged placed my order. When I got the food the chicken strips were horrible. I think they had been under the heat lamps since lunch and both the chicken strips and fries were lukewarm at best. I will stick to my favorite location in Taylor, Texas from now on. I didn't think there was a worse location than the one in Rockdale, Texas but you guys certainly proved me wrong.
Somewhere in between the wait at the drive-through the food not being the temperature you'd expect. Then completing payment. I once again start to realize that I'm eating here on the wrong day of the week again. I'll be back but when I do it will be Tender Tuesday.
Catfish was really good! My husband loves the chicken! We live in Austin, had to come to Round Rock to eat here.
They used to have better service. It was just ok. When told they didn't have mashed potatoes available, they had limited choices to substitute. We asked if we weren't able to get what we wanted could we please have some extra gravy to use on the fries we ended up getting. The employee was resistant to make the customer happy. We got home and realized that they still messed up our order.
The best chicken livers and gizzards in town! However, closed on Mondays!!! ??
They are CLOSED! Husband wanted some fish. Drove there and not a light on or car in sight. Culver's it is!! Different fish yes but food and service is better!
