Good food, friendly staff. My husband loved his mole on his enchiladas. The only things we didn't care for were the flour tortillas (they weren't homemade) and my daughter's fried chicken salad was just iceberg lettucec with frozen chicken nuggets on top. She was disappointed. Other than that, we enjoyed the rest of the food. Flavorful with reasonable prices.
TL;DR : okay food, bad decor, good serviceFood is mediocre, nothing special. My wife and I got enchiladas which were bland. The menu was confusing and not well organized but that’s a personal opinion. Not terrible but not the 4.5 stars this place deserves. The decor is dated and the entire interior could use a facelift. Some of the booth seats were torn which is just unacceptable. The bathroom is GROSS, the Men’s bathroom stall has been all but denigrated with urine.Service was great and the food arrived in a matter of minutes, although I must admit that it was very busy when we arrived.

It was very busy and the waitress was swamped, so trying to cut her slack. But service was kinda slow. That might be forgiven if the food had been really good, but it just was not. The taste was mediocre at best, and the margarita was bland. Disappointing for sure.
This may sound odd to some but this place is probably the best Mexican food I’ve had since moving to Texas. So far I have not been disappointed with anything I’ve had.
Service here is always really good. They always come to your table and make sure you're not low on water. And the food selection is pretty spectacular.
great place. food, drinks, salsa. won't be an item you won't like.
I was here last night and everything was great at first, food, service, etc. My date's food came out and he didn't like it, but our server was too busy flirting with the table next to us to check to see how our food was. He was hungry so he ate some of it and then left the plate to the side of the table. I had completely finished my plate by the time the server came to see how everything was. I've been in the service industry for 13 years and know that the standard is "2 minutes or two bites" to see if everything is okay with a guest's food. He then told my date that he didn't read the menu, that that is just how the dish comes, and if that's true that's fair, but he said it in a snarky tone, but there's no reason he couldn't have checked on us sooner before flirting with his other table. When the manager came by the table, he asked my date condescendingly "so you've never been to a Mexican restaurant before?" and then later told him that he ate too much of the plate to have it taken completely off the bill. I wish I had argued the point about the server not having been by to check on us to offer him another option, but I was flustered in the moment.

Food was great. My family misses the real Mexican food we are accustomed to from back in San Antonio. This was a great alternative, just wish the tortillas were home-made. Margaritas were yummy and Alex was awesome!
