Open early fresh coffee and a delicious muffin. What more do you want? Quick drive through quick service inside. A good experience.Now I need to comment on the several complaints about loud music and rude people working here. I have never had a rude experience at this location in fact all of the people that work there have always been quite Pleasant. The music is a bit loud but it is an upbeat Pleasant environment. The music is just fine as it is.People complaining about working or studying here might want to realize that this establishment is trying to generate income so that it can stay in business as well as employing the eight people I saw standing behind the counter working their butts off. If you need peace and quiet to study or work you might want to purchase your coffee and go somewhere to do so.Round Rock Coffee Bar is a much nicer location as it is than any of the local Starbucks. Yes they play music yes it's a bit louder than normal. No it is not annoying and no the staff is not rude.
This coffee bar seems very inexperienced, but it has potential. The coffee blends had a good flavor, but not a very rich coffee taste. Also, this is NOT the place for iced tea. Black Rock doesn't seem to have an established menu, and seems to be flying by the seat of their pants. I'm unsure about how they will distinguish themselves, but I'm definitely willing to give them another chance!
This was my favorite place until today, when I have to paid $13.42 for a drink. I was asked whether I want the drink filled to the top after I asked the fuel without ice. I said ok. I didn’t know I will be charged double price for that, in that case I would refuse. Very disappointed today
Colorful fun decor, plenty of seating and staff galore! Coffee was good! Remix Dance Music was way to loud inside and internet was not the greatest! RR could use a little clean up. Great hangout but not for getting work done. I’m probably 25 years to old for this place…. :(
I was hesitant to give this place a try but I am so glad I did. Their coffee is delicious and they are my favorite coffee spot now. You can even get TacoDeli breakfast tacos here. The staff is always so friendly, give them a try!
Ok….so I may change this review, but as of right now!!!! I love them. I can not drink coffee. I can, but I hate to. I get too jittery and overall just isn’t for me. Starbucks was closed (surprise surprise) so I decided to order from Black Rock, because I saw energy fuel. Omg it was amazing! I have pure energy and alertness no jitters. It was so tasty(I got pomegranate, pineapple, kiwi with a coconut fuel add) ! I can’t wait to actually go into the store to get recommendations on the energy drinks and get more info. I highly recommend based off the drink itself. I will follow up with the overall store experience when I get a chance to drop in on one. So far so good ?
Bad coffee. Bad music. Rude kids taking our order. Tastes like dirty water. I got a cold brew, and it was awful. My boyfriend also got the same thing and hated it. It’s not strong coffee. I think they do well at making sugary tasty drinks, but since we ordered black cold brews it was incredibly easy to tell that the actual coffee was terrible. If you are a lover of rich flavorful coffee this place isn’t for you. If you’re super into a tasty sugary drink, then this is your place.
I love this coffee shop. I typically stop for coffee around 7am before work and every single interaction with the Black Rock Coffee Team is refreshing. It’s become rare to find a group of people who make meaningful conversation with you and I get that every time I walk in or use the drive thru. I order the same drink every single time with no shame, it might be basic but I love the Iced Caramel Blondie coffee anyway.Thanks for the smiles you spread and being in business ?
I love new coffee shops and was recommended here by a friend. When i first walked in I was immediately greeted in a very kind and professional way. Paola truly is an amazing person and hard worker, made me feel very welcome and answered all my questions. In today's climate finding a helpful person who is not only patient and kind is very rare. 10/10 would come again!
Amazing coffee and amazing atmosphere. I really want to give a shout-out to one of the employees Mr. Hew (Matthew) who is not only very knowledgeable and helpful but very funny and a great face for this coffee shop. Will definitely return for more coffee and more laughs!
