This was the worst experience we have ever had. They are very short of help. It took 15 min to be seated. Took 45 min for food to come after ordering. I have problems with the cold at most restaurants. By the time my food came I was blue from the cold. When I asked about help was told they only had 2 people in kitchen & 3 waitresses. Had they told me it would have taken this long I would have gone elsewhere.
Needless to say I wish I could turn back time and not have eaten at this place! The restaurant was empty but my husband had to walk to the back just to get someone to come seat us. Once seated it still took about 15 min for our waiter to come out. Once she came it was excuse after excuse as to why they didn’t have napkins or ketchup it was ridiculous! Secondly, our food was disgusting ? the fries were stale and cold the mashed potatoes had an after taste which was gross! We had to wait over 30 minutes for our food and our ticket! All we wanted to do was just leave, I am so disappointed in this place. DO NOT GO RUN FOR YOUR LIFE!!!!
Raven Our Server, looked after us fantasticly. He remembered all of the drink and food orders without having to write it down, and there were 4 of us! The food did take a while to come out, but it was delicious. (I recommend the Whiskey burger) We will definitely return to this location over the poor service we receive in Georgetown.
So, as I was trying to ask for a new table because the A/C was freezing me, the waiter spilt an entire glass of ice water on me, which I didn't ask for. I had to ask for napkins, no one came to help us move. I am soaked and freezing. All we got was an apology. No discounts offered, until I asked, approximately 20-30 mins later. I had previously asked for a tea....which I had to ask 5 times. It was pretty empty in the restaurant, our appetizer and meal came out together over 25-30mins from the spill. I could go on and on with this story, so much more. In the end we just received 2 jello shots as I sat soaked and cold. I think our waiter was medicated. If I could give less than 1 star I would. Then we asked for our ticket.. 20 mins to receive, 15 mins for them to pick up, so we walked to the bar to pay."Yes, we want the change" All $1.05.
Food was Fresh and Hot. Drinks were tasty and on point. Server was very nice.
so for the first time I ordered a rib eye steak med rare. at Applebees. it was very thin n and dry.
We visited super late, so, only the bar area was open, which was fine! The bartender was great! He knew he drinks, held gre!great! Conversation and transitioned seamlessly through guests and orders! At the end of out meal, he mentioned he was only on his 3rd day of training, and the bartender, his trainer, didn't show up, so he was Literally on his own for the first time!!I WAS SHOCKED! LIKE, THERE'S NO WAY!!DUDE DID AN AMAZING JOB!! I'D GIVE THAT GUY A RAISE, A PROMOTION, OR WHATEVER YOU HAVE TO DO, BUT HE'S A DEFINITE ASSET TO YOUR RESTAURANT!!
The food was not great (the meat and veggie wasn't fresh or not as good as before) BUT the customer service was above and beyond. Only one server working the busy lunch hour but she managed to help all of us in a timely manner! 5 star for service and 3 star for food.
Very dissatisfied with the service. The hostess was nice and friendly so the star goes to her. The server in the other hand doesn’t know how to proponerle give service. Besides having a 30+ minute wait to even be seated even though the restaurant was at less than 50% capacity. The server took very long to even notice us seating already. Plus when server sees us waiting decides to go to another table to tale their order didn’t even approach us. We also caught the server speaking with a coworker rather than coming to our table. We decided to leave at that point since he didn’t even went to get our drink order. Will not be coming back to this Applebees at all.
Eh. I went for my bday and service was really slow. I think they were short staff there were only 2 servers. I was really wanting the pasta but it had no flavor. My drink was watered down. Just wasnt all that great.
