The food was good but really greasy. They don’t make the breakfast tacos I’m this location like others by mixing all the ingredients together.The inside of the restaurant itself is dirty. Every single chair has something in it and full of dust. Under the tables it’s dirty everywhere. It seems they don’t have a cleaning crew or just don’t care for the appearance of the place.It’s sad to see since they have not been open more then a year.
Be aware if you trying to dine in there at 9:45 they will make you take it to go. we arrive 15 minutes before closing the lady taking the orders as soonest she saw us told us we will close at 10 and we were like ok ??!? And I ask can we eat outside at least and she was like but we close at 10 I was so mad and she’s like for here or to go ?? ..: so I said I guess to go since you close at 10 . You should put a sign telling people after certain hour it’s only to go.. always disappointed
Im conflicted. The filling is good, but the tortillas taste premade or store bought. I just dont understand how I get fresher tortillas at Sunoco/taco Laredo for $1.29 than I do for my $4+ tacos at Torchys.I know the tortillas are sub par and I keep going back anyway, so I guess that is on me.
I love Torchys, but...The order is almost always wrong! I ordered two Cougars with no cilantro ( on full order too) and received two Democrats or Crossroads (with cilantro. Being late at night, I wasn't going to drive back for a correct order.See pic, definitely not a Cougar!
Food is good and packaged well food is fat and “bussin” Torchys is a tuff place to start up especially in this area. People complain about the price I’m sure. Don’t forget there is 50 other places right next door if you can’t afford it. Ive opened enough of them. You can tell they are a new store but they will be rocking and rolling in no time and we actually have somewhere to eat at that is a good fat boi American taco spot!!!! Unfortunately people are too judgmental these days. With the good comments comes the bad. A-1 service and no complaints keep up the good work and buckle down!
I went there this last Sunday and I was expecting something similar to the Torchy’s in Sugarland. Although Torchy's one of my favorite places to go for tacos, that changed when they reduced the portions but charge you the same so if you were full with 2 tacos now you need 3 (It's my understanding that Torchys was bought and it's now an investment opportunity so I dont know if this has something to do). So I was expecting same thing here. The place in Sugarland is prettier BUT the food here is delicious. It was $1 more expensive per tacos but the portion was just as it was before, and with just two tacos I was satisfied. I loved food here, the staff was really nice and the place was clean. I enjoyed my visit there. ☺️I forgot to take pictures of my food but I have one of my dessert. The churros were good.
Insanely overpriced, you get a single 6 inch taco for $6.The 10 dollar margarita was the size of a child's drink.(I got it to go)The trailer park is literally just a chicken strip in a tortilla with some lettuce and cheese. The flavor was nothing special definitely could get the same experience for cheaper at home.The crossroads was okay, gross aftertaste like burnt molé.The Tipsy chicken was bad and not worth the price. I think there was supposed to be a sauce.I ordered my dinner to go and none of the sauces were labeled so I'm not sure which sauce was supposed to go on which taco so I ate them all dry.For the price of one taco here you could get three tacos at a taco truck.The girl that took my order seemed annoyed at me.Definitely going to be my last time trying this place.
I enjoy the tacos from this place but I waited 20 min for 2 tacos in a pick up parking lane. The manager told me 10 min and she pretty much sidestepped the fact she said that. If you come here just eat inside

Every time I dine in I'm absolutely disappointed. I've been here 4 times only because the tacos are great. Service is terrible. When ordering you can't hear each other, today my order was wrong. Earlier this week food took 30+ mins just to get to our table. I've dealt with an unfriendly server. And my friend's order was lost and mixed up with someone else's... I highly suggest using the app and ordering pick up. That was the only time I didn't experience an issue.
