This Starbucks cafe inside the Kroger store recently switched (in April 2022) to become an official Starbucks Cafe. This means that aside from paying with your Starbucks card, you can now place mobile orders through your Starbucks app for pick up in-store. They make delicious beverages! Coffee is always good and fresh. And they also have most of the sandwiches, bakery items, and protein boxes that main Starbucks cafes carry. There is a dining area where you can sit and sip. There is a free wifi courtesy of Kroger, and the store bathrooms are a short distance away. I love the extremely competent and friendly workers, Raquel and Josh, the master baristas! And they have new baristas who are nice and helpful as well. I love that Starbucks is inside Kroger as it’s a twofer deal: coffee first, then grocery shop.
At this location, Raquel, the manager? wanted to charge me an extra dollar to have my half and half heated before it was added to my Americano. No location I have gone to has ever done this. When I asked about it and shared this with her she said well that's the way we do it here so that's the way I'm going to do it. She was very rude and imperious in her attitude.When I asked to cancel the order, she seemed defiantly happy to do so, and I calmly let her know I would be entering a review about this location.As I stood making the review she began making a coffee for me and called to me to take it.Then she chased me wanting to know why I was still doing a review. I told her because I had already wasted 5 minutes of my time working on a review that I should not even having to be writing. She and the other woman smirked at each other she walked off. Hey, all I wanted was a cup of coffee not all this drama and gouging.Very un-starbucks-like treatment here. Knew it was a bad idea to go to a Kroger's Starbucks. Lesson learned. Go to the real stores.
I'm not a big coffee fan, but I will poke my head in to try something new. The place is clean and staff is friendly and courtesy.

Couldn't redeem my free birthday drink since their QR reader didn't work. I just paid for my drink instead and left.
Customer service was BOSS and my order wS made fresh and very quick .

I was very pleased with not only the coffee but the service today. There are times when the other person that works there is not rude but very unhappy and it not only shows on her but makes the customer uncomfortable so I usually skip my coffee treat, but today there was someone different and he was GREAT. Very pleasant and engaging. I'm pretty sure if he was there more they would sell out.Maybe he can train the other employee to be pleasant and engaging too
Much too costly. Shipleys & Whataburger offer tasty coffee at a more sensible price -- just my opinion.
The woman that was working looked like she was daydreaming. Took her a few mins to realize I was there.
