It is run down. Prices are much higher for comparison with others on area. The man who owns the place is grumpy. The waitress looked tired and food portions were small.Geez dude, when I spend 13 for a lunch special at least say thank you when I leave and hello when I come. Being efficient is not enough in a small town.
First time visiting and their food is amazing as well as their customer service. I ordered the crispy Szechuan beef and Dan Dan noodles. Shared between 3 people and we were stuffed!
My family has eaten at Hunan Garden for over 30 years. The sauces are excellent! My sons love the hot and sour soup and always order extra shrimp rolls. My husband orders the walnut shrimp or the spicy crispy shrimp with sauce on the side. My favorite is the seafood in black bean sauce. No matter the age of our guests, Elaine, the owner, is happy to provide and to make recommendations. A+

this place is soo good!! the walnut shrimp is to die for! And i about fell out my chair on my 1st visit there when I was offered a refill on my rice, I think the cook was feeling generous lol! The owner (she's sweet) , cooks and staff are so nice and involved with their customers, I see them talking to the customers like they have known them for years. this place is perfect for a peaceful little date or just to go with friends!!
Really enjoyed the service and very satisfied. Glasses were kept full and food was hot and fresh. Their was 3 of us and we all enjoyed the food and service.
My family has been eating the best Chinese anywhere since they opened. Best egg rolls ever! We have taken so many friends and family there and they still go on their own. It’s a family thing and we love all who make our experience wonderful.
Have been coming here with family for a few years, and other than the rather out-spoken management (older woman), we’ve always enjoyed the excellent food and amazingly attentive service. And the place is usually spotless. And there are always leftovers that are taken home to sometimes enjoy up for up to a day or two. (My absolute favorite are the chicken lettuce wraps. Pure deliciousness!)
Best hidden gem in Rosenberg. Best service and food. Not greasy homemade. Best fried rice in town. The Bo Bo platter is amazing. Really all the food is amazing. They treat you like family here. Not over priced for the quality of food you get.
