I have been a loyal patron of Gringos for many years and I'll start off by saying this is probably the best Mexican restaurant in the area. I always sit at the bar where Luis the bartender has always kept a watchful eye over the needs of the patrons. 5 star to Luis. This restaurant really caters to the needs of the customers. You get a free peice of cake on your birthday and they even have a rewards program. Now for my personal opinion of the food.... its great! Although over the years it has gotten more americanized there's still the authentic Mexican taste. Finally you CAN NOT get a better margarita anywhere else. The quality is A1.
I met my cousin's and my sister for an early dinner, but my sister and I didn't eat anything we just ordered drinks!!! But I have to say that the pork skins are delicious and my cousin's enjoyed their food they stated it was delicious also!!! As for the drinks you can't go wrong!!! I ordered the cactus juice drink and it was delicious, it's my favorite drink and my sister ordered the margarita and she really enjoyed it too, she said it taste really good!!! Our waiter was awesome very nice very friendly and welcoming, the restaurant itself was clean and pretty busy, so if you're going to dinner you need to show up early!!! LOL!!!
The food here is so so good!!! Even the salad is delicious, it had maple pecans and strawberries and oranges and it was the best spring type salad I have ever had! The waiters and waitresses are always really good, fast, polite, efficient. On the other hand, the hostesses are not usually as such. Other than that it has been wonderful everytime!
The fajitas enchiladas were horrible. It was served cold. The sauce tasted straight out of can, barely any cheese, the meat had a lot of fat/tough texture and The tortillas tasted like the cheap ones you buy off grocery store shelf. The rice was cold and crunchy. The beans were bland. A huge disappointment and they cost $17! The service is good depending on which server you get for your table. Our server during this visit was prompt and listened to us. The margaritas taste good and fair priced. The server Cesar and the margarita are the only reasons that I give 3 stars, instead of 1 star for this place. Just not impressed.
Always a good evening out. For a busy place you never feel crowded or like you are in someone else's conversation. Servers are all very attentive and polite. Seat this time around was a bit awkward as we were right outside the kitchen area where servers turn over and get the shift's instruction and motivational speech. Did not ruin our experience. Was almost nice to hear the details discussed regarding customer service. Chips and salsa always plentiful and never leave hungry.
My friend and I had lunch here on Sunday 4-3-22 afternoon .We had the best service that I have ever had at a Gringos!!Our server knew the menu very well and gave great recommendations to my friend who wanted a cocktail and who is very particular.Carlo was his name he is very professional at the same time very friendly.Me being in the F&B industry for over 35 years was very impressed with him.You all have a great guy on your team!!!
Had a bad takeout experience and Conley, the general manager, reached out and made the whole situation better! There was mixup with my curbside order which delayed my order and the food ended up being cold/soggy. I was extremely disappointed as I was working and didn’t make dinner for my kids (who are extremely picky) and decided to pickup food. Conley was able to fix the situation and even went above and beyond! Hoping to try it again soon!
Well the food was delicious and timely. Me and my coworkers enjoyed it. Would have given them 5 but our waiter was a little overwhelmed and we got our food but no silverware. By the time he realized it and got them to us our drinks needed refills. By the time he got us refills we were more then halfway done eating.
The food was delicious. We waited 40 minutes for a table and after we were seated I had to go to the hostess stand to ask her to find our waiter. When a waiter did come over he informed us that he was not her waiter but he would get our order in and then we would not see him again because he was going home cuz he was hungry. We did get our food and a timely fashion and it was very good but the service was a disgrace
Came in on a Thursday night after a long day of work with my husband. We sat at bar and the gentleman who served us was awesome and fast. It was a busy night. I took off one star because I didn't like the shrimp marisco bowl as it lacked spices and flavor.
