This is the second time we have came to this location and we were there by 8:40pm and the kitchen staff actually hid behind the counter, they locked the doors so no one could get in. Even what looked like the manager was hiding! We waited for 10 mins and watched 4 other people go through the drive thru and one other man tried to open the door and it was locked. This is ridiculous and uncalled for how can you run a business when your employees hide instead of helping customers?? This is a poor way to run a business and shame on the manager for allowing the staff and themselves to do that!!***I have filled out the form on your website and would love for someone to call me so we can discuss this! And it wasn’t that the service wasn’t up to par it’s the simple fact they ignored us, locked the doors before 9pm, kitchen staff hid behind the counter and the other employees were hiding too so I’m sorry if I would’ve been served that would be different but they refused to not only serve me but 4 other people!!***
We LOVE Captain D's! We're from Nashville, TN and literally ate there every Saturday. Its been 2 yrs After moving to Houston that we were able to enjoy again. Everything was perfect even the sweet tea!!
Traveled over an hour, because I was told that the catfish was big and good.I purchased 3 catfish feasts and got catfish nuggets. They need to update their pictures, because it's false advertisement. Not satisfied at all.
Please change your business hours to 8:30 if that’s what time you close. I went at 8:27 and online it says open till 9 when I went to the drive thru I was ignored and then the employees proceeded to turn the lights off. When I called a few minutes later she answered and said they close at 8:30.
Food is well prepared, has good flavor and the staff is friendly
Chicken was old. Nozzles for the sodas had mold. This is the second time first time the coleslaw was spoiled. Plus workers smoking MJ in the back. Manager was upset we found his mold but was respectful when giving our money back. I would take photos next time but I refuse to die.
This place is a gem. The fish and hushpuppies are always crunchy on the outside and perfect on the inside. Even the fries are on point every time. I have received bad coleslaw once or twice but that isn't a deal breaker. Eat here! You won't be disappointed.
