I'm not sure how long this place has been in business, but when others get wind of it, they are definitely going to need a bigger place because the food spoke for itself, and it said "Mmmmmmmmmmmm" We were really pleased that we stopped in, we will certainly return when visiting the area in the future. Wow everything was really good and you could tell that love and care went into everything. To the folks at Wells, I sure hope you are ready for the explosive growth you are destined to experience as it is bound to happen with the quality of food you are producing. I had the Green Chile Burger, The Mrs. had a Mushroom & Swiss and we shared an order if fries. Looking forward to coming back. For anyone in the Rockwall TX area, give this place a try.
It’s always nice to have options for my food allergies. I can honestly say this has been one of the best gluten free burgers I’ve had! The meat was seasoned perfectly and could have stood on its own. Definitely will be back here when I’m in the area again.
I went here for the first time 06-09-2022 around 6 PM. I tried the Hot Ranch-Hand Burger and the Western dog. I added a extra patty and slice of pepperjack cheese to my burger. The hot dog was very good and the bacon tasted like one of the best bacon I have ever tried in my life. The burger was amazing as well. The Burger patties were great quality. Very fresh and enormous. The staff was friendly and very polite even though it was my first time and I had questions. Great place to eat burgers and hot dogs. I am from Garland but will definitely make the drive here couple times a month for a great burger and hot dog.
Real deal ranch burger place. Rancher owner is hands on. He took our order and answered my questions about their ranch (out by Cado Mills) and their herd. All the meat at the restaurant comes from their ranch. Very enjoyable conversations.The restaurant is an old house just off the square. Parking is limited but other parking is available across the street. The burgers are simple but amazing, as are the fries. We were very pleasantly surprised. Highly recommend.
Wow wow wow!!! One of the best burger, fries, and dessert I’ve ever had and it was reasonably priced. Burger and fries were seasoned perfectly, and the peach cobbler was heavenly. The atmosphere of the restaurant made you feel at home and the owner, Lee, was very hospitable. He took our order and then came by a few times to see how we were doing. They use their own beef and make everything in house, you can tell it’s made with love. It is rare to get such good service anymore so we were pleasantly surprised with everything at this local spot. Will definitely be coming back regularly to try all the different combinations they have!
We ordered pie, burgers, and fries through Doordash today. the burgers and pies were great. The fries were so burnt we could not eat them. They were so over cooked, possibly re-fried a 2nd time, I am shocked an employee would bag them up and send them to a customer. Some restraunts serve substandard food when the consumer buys via Door Dash or similar delivery service. Not sure why, unless they are trying to reduce produce waste and limit profit loss and don't think anyone will notice until it's too late. What ever Wells' reason for sending burnt fries, it was not appreciated and we are greatly disappointed!
Absolutely amazing. We drove about an hour because we heard such great things and we were so glad we did. Lots of dietary restrictions in our family and we all found something we loved. The chicken burger was delicious. My son had the veggie burger and said it was the best he’d ever had. We will be back!
The burger meal was good; not the best but also not the worst. There wasn't really anything that made the food stand out from the many burger restaurants in the DFW area. The price was fair for what they offered. The atmosphere was nice. I read the other reviews before I went, and was concerned about how several had mentioned they had their orders wrong. Well it happened to me as well. I didn't find it confusing, but while eating, I did notice several patrons not knowing where to go order.
My second time here and WOW! You can’t beat the freshness and the quality of these burgers. They have so many delicious burgers and hot dogs on their menu, makes it hard to pick just one! But that’s okay, gives you another reason to keep coming back! Don’t be afraid to start simple with their basic cheeseburger, The Wells Burger. It’s just as delicious as it looks!
Super nice and brought my burger to me. Burger was really good with a great BBQ sauce, bacon was good and crisp.Had the coconut pie and the meringue was great looking. Pie was wonderful and the peach tea was good. Would’ve like it to already be sweet but know that not everyone likes sweet tea.Nice place out here in Rockwall.
