Came here for a quick drink and appetizer while waiting for our reservation at Gloria's next door. The service was very subpar as the server couldn't remember anything that we ordered and didn't come by to check on us for a while. We had ordered a Dos Equis on draft and the server brought over a bottle that's rim was covered in salt. The server took so long to come around that we didn't get the chance to ask for paper towels to wipe it off or even ask why it was in a bottle. Unfortunately even the vodka cranberry was all cranberry - how you can mess up a well drink and a simple beer was disappointing. We had the Brussel Sprouts to share and it tasted like popcorn - it wasn't bad popcorn but it didn't have too much flavor besides being crunchy like popcorn. All in all, I was very disappointed with how everything turned out. I might give this place another shot in the future and to try out some of their menu items, but definitely not for drinks.
Went here as a "mother's choice" outing for a belated Mother's Day celebration from a visiting offspring. Turned out to be a very enjoyable experience. Atmosphere was scenic and relatively quiet. The food was delicious. I had the BBQ burger, "mom" had shrimp platter, and our son had the jalapeño burger. All of the food choices were awesome! Will definitely be going back!
Me and my husband went for a late lunch on a Saturday. It was nice out and the patio was open. They also had a lady singing and playing the guitar which was nice. The service was not so great. It was seat yourself so you had to wait on someone to notice you sitting there. It took a whole to even get a drink. Nobody said, " We'll be right with you. "We ordered a couple of beers and the chips and dip trio. We decided to eat somewhere else since the service wasn't so great. The chips and dips were just ok.Not sure if we would go back. They weren't that busy so I'd hate to go on a Saturday night or a special event night and take a chance with bad service.
This place is pretty great! All the waitresses are great, especially Sarah and Rachel! This is my go to happy hour or date night spot. Can’t say enough good things about the restaurant and its staff!! The best manager by far is Tatum! If she’s there, it’ll be a great night.
Our waitress Rachael was spectacular! Very personable and always on her service game! We got checked on all the time and would socialize and have fun. The drinks were delicious and the food was scarfed down so fast!! The manager Tatum is super awesome to. We watched her be involved with all the guests and assist all the servers. Very hands on, fun and professional. The pink hair totally rocks too! Overall our first time was a total blast and we look forward to coming again to see Rachael and Tatum! #SnickerdoodleLife
First time at this location and wasn’t the best experience. They have a good lakefront spot and nice setup inside. The problem was beer availability. 8 of the 9 draft beers I attempted to order off the menu were out, which is insane for a place known for beer selection. We also grabbed a can of 903 fruited sour (a local Texas brewery) and were charged $38 for a 16oz can that retails for $7!!! I believe in profit margins, but that is ridiculous. The food was decent. Like others mentioned, it’s not much better than frozen/reheated. I think it’s more execution than ingredient quality (flatbread bottom was soft/soggy and pretzel bites were super greasy). If they make some changes here I’d come back, otherwise I couldn’t honestly recommend to anyone.
I so badly wanted to give this a great review but after forgotten about food, to lack of refills to a server just straight hanging with other tables... I can't. Our food got cold since we were waiting on one more entrée that I had to go to the bar to ask them to find, server never came back to ask if everything was okay or to refill waters ... we got one round of drinks but we wanted another. It was a sad end to my visiting trip.My sister still lives close and may give them a try but isn't going out of her way
EDIT: While I appreciate the response, it was not a matter of being under staffed. The bartender sat at the bar talking to the same guy sitting at the bar the entire night - ignoring everyone else there.Sat at the bar and quickly realized if you're not one of the regulars you will be ignored. Bartender took our first drink order when we sat down then never looked in our direction again. Wasn't until another bar tender arrived we were given a food menu and another round. Will not be back.
Beer is overpriced, food isn’t very good. Tried the pizza and have to say I’ve had better that can be cooked in a microwave in minutes. Service is quite slow. We had the girl with pink hair but I don’t remember her name. Looks like she was more concerned with what was going on with her phone s she was always on it or looking at it. To me that’s unacceptable. May try again but highly doubt it.
On the Harbor District of Rockwall, Texas, and right on Lake Ray Hubbard's marina.A Big speakeasy sportsbar venue with plenty of draft beers on tap, andfull-service bar. Bigscreens all over this venue offer NCAA, NFL, NBA, MLB, and more!Bartender Lexi was awesome, she was great with a big crowd of guests, but checked on me numerous times. Lexi was the highlight of my visit here.2 billards tables for the poolsharks, and plenty of seating options for the people watchers.Outdoor seating for the sunset views over the lake. The Kitchen awaits your hunger! This menu has great variety & something for all tastes!I got the Carolina Sweets sweet potato fries with pulled pork. This was delicious, and sweet!
