Second time at The Bagel Lady. I like supporting local businesses and the owner is a wonderful lady. I had the pleasure of meeting her when they first opened for business. The service is always great. I'm giving it 3 stars because I was disappointed in the bagel and the amount of chive spread on the bagel. There was barely any spread on such a big bagel. The consistency of the bagel was more like a loaf of bread. Not what a bagel is supposed to be like.
I don’t like to write reviews on a small family owned business but my experience today needed to be shared. We arrived on a Saturday morning at 10am. We were greeted by two friendly ladies. We asked what bagels they had today because none were displayed. She said they are very limited and looked over to some bagels on the table in zip lock bags. We were kinda surprised the bagels were in zip lock bags as it insinuated that the bagels were not fresh. I got a everything bagel with chive cream cheese and my husband got an egg, cheese, and sausage on a everything bagel. We took our food to go. I’m from the New York area and was excited to see this family owed business with such great reviews but my bagel was not cooked that day. It appeared and tasted as the bagel was old with hot cream cheese. My husband also got a stale bagel. We payed 12 dollars for two bagels. We were surprised by this outcome as we were expecting fresh bagels at a bagel shop and we drove from 20 minutes away. The service was friendly and great. Our feedback here is solely on the bagels.
This place is so good. The breakfast bagels are on point and any bagel you get will be delicious. And I always get me a black and white cookie before leaving!
This is a very homey and delicious hole-in-the-wall business that serves some lovely flavor combinations with a great variety of cream cheeses and bagels. On top of that, the restaurant is also connected to a tea house run by the same owners, so you can get a bagel and drink from the same place in the morning. My experience ordering was lovely with not too long of a line; I would definitely recommend this place to my friends and family.
I have been here several times now, and it is my favorite place to take my daughter to lunch or breakfast. Great bagels and you can't pass on the Heart of Texas tea house, the best tea I have had.
Grabbed a western bagel on the jalapeño and Asiago bun, very tasty. Had never been before and the staff was very helpful and went out of their way to give samples and explain the menu. Definitely recommend for breakfast!
Awesome bagels with the best cream cheese. Now they also have deserts and a great selection of teas.
This place is the best in Rockwall! Lox bagel with dill cream cheese is my favorite. I’ve been here so many times and it is always consistently awesome.
Best bagel place in the metroplex!!Owner is so precious and friendly. Staff is always warm and welcoming. Bagels are, well, perfect. Soft and chewy on the inside and have a snappy bite.
Amazing bagels!! The customer service was outstanding! It’s like being transported to an excellent Jewish New York deli as you step through the door. I intend to come again!
