We used to love Soulman's BBQ. They used to run a great business. Not anymore. The kids he hires are all terrible. They have long nails, but they handle your food, which is a health code violation. The kids he hires are always rude, too. Cheap labor I suppose. They barely give you any of the sides now. They have little containers and fill them half to 2/3 of the way. The chicken is always dried out. They are cheap with their meat despite their claims. The chopped beef is always loaded with fat and they say "we want to make sure it is moist" when you ask them not to give you all that fat. The sausage is usually overcooked and somewhat tough. The floors are always either really sticky or ridiculously slick. Somebody is going to fall and sue their pants off. We paid $43 to 2 small drinks and 2 two-meat plates. RIP OFF. Go to Sideways. it is expensive, but the quality and quantity is there. Also want to mention, they care nothing about customer service or complaints. I know an ex-employee who said he prides himself on being a Christian, but he is a nasty, mean person and treats his employees horribly. No wonder the kids that work there act as they do.

Great food and great service. Its a 50-50 shot these days when dining somewhere whose staff appears to still be in high school that you get quality service. This crew, though young, was a pleasure to share a diner with. Well worth the money spent.

Ribs were not very good. Under cooked. Also sad we haven’t seen the ice cream machine come back. ?

Went for fish his past Friday evening would have been better off getting frozen fish sticks also the baked potatoes were old the beans was cold the sliced beef was like leather and the ribs was a couple days old $96 and some change wasted the Greenville location is horrible

Half-a-Chicken and Half-a-Rib-Rack were the base for two meals in this newly remodeled dining room and leftovers at home. Roasted and smoked to superb flavor and tenderness, we could feast on these meats alone, every day of the week. But Wait! The two western style potatoes and pinto bean dishes make it hard not to gorge yourself before you ask for a To-Go box. They allow you to select their homemade Banana Pudding as a side dish. So I did. Oh Wow. That dessert barely made it home - so, so hard to stop when your taste buds scream More! The chef and all the servers are Christian Family Friendly, all the time and generous with words and smiles. The only drawback is the $3.20 price for the large drink. We splurged for Valentines ?.

So appreciative of the staff at Soulman’s for being open to feed people in the midst of a winter storm! The food was delicious and they were so gracious to all who stopped there. All the restaurants surrounding this one were closed. Thank you, Soulman’s!

Been at this location twice now and I rarely complain.Worst BBQ I’ve ever had. Full of gristle and hard to chew.Do not recommend.

Last several visits, the ribs were pathetically small and not very tasty. Two, MAYBE 3 bites per rib and way over cooked. They also removed the ice cream cone machine. Going back to Baker’s Ribs

I've been to other soulman's, so i had pretty high expectations. After being forced to wait because of the labor shortage (i understand that one) i got to order finally, the staff was pretty friendly, but the meat was dry, small portions and i never have haf small portions at a soulman's. The beans were over salted. The potatos and the bun were good though. Maybe it was an off day but i can't give a better review then that

The chicken is so good here and so are their baked potatoes. The people are SIPER nice. It was so good that this is my second visit in 2 days!
