We came here around 12, on a Saturday it wasn't busy and they had many pastries and food options available still. I got an iced latte and it tasted fantastic! The food was absolutely delicious. Great and fast service. Highly recommend this little coffee shop. The interior was very nice and a good place to stop and get some pastries ?
Amazing bakery and coffee shop on the square in Downtown Rockwall. Friendly staff and delicious and unique pastries, desserts, coffee drinks and specialty drinks. They also have homemade ice cream. A real treat!!
I visited Sloane’s around 1:45 on a weekday and there wasn’t much left in the case. I assumed they sold out early & took this as a good sign. I bought 3 of the only cookie available (chocolate chip) & was surprised to pay $3.75 each! I understand it’s a small operation & baking requires a lot of time & effort, but this seemed like quite a lot to charge for a cookie of this size. Perhaps they use really high quality ingredients??My first bite was completely flavorless.Made sure to get chocolate in the second bite but it was also without flavor.My disappointment turned to fear when the thought crossed my mind that perhaps I have Covid & have lost my sense of taste!!At the time it seemed like a logical explanation for why the cookie was so bland.Waited until I got home & could try a bite of something else to test this theory.2 delicious pecans later the fear of Covid is gone but the disappointment in Sloanes’s chocolate chip cookies remains.
Went here on a Wednesday at 3pm. Had a sign on the door that said “back in 30 minutes”. Waited 40 minutes and no one returned. Just bad business. Also after getting a jerk response from the owner I will make sure to keep this review at one star and spread the word. Also they said the employee was back at 3:40pm well we were at the door at 3:46pm. So either they can’t tell time or their employee is lying to them. Either way a jerk response from the owner.
What a fantastic little spot! My wife and I were out and about, had breakfast at the 66 diner and wanted something sweet. We walked up to the square to enjoy some time together. We were pleasantly surprised when we walked into Sloane's, greeted with a smile and the decor is very inviting! I ordered a chocolate chip cookie and a coffee. I can not remember the name but it was amazing. It was a bourbon something an other. The cookie was so soft and creamy, it was decadent.I am looking forward to stopping in again in the future to try the other offerings and would recommend you give them a try to!
I am dairy free and dread coffee with unsweetened almond milk. They recommended the Madagascar with almond milk and their homemade vanilla. It was amazing! Definitely my new go to!
Tried this place today and it was great. I actually came back a second time when Google shows it open but they were closed. Good stuff but can't give them a 5 because their schedule is unreliable. I just don't know when they are actually open. On their door it says open 8am until sold out. Because of this people who live 10-15 minutes away can't risk coming here in the afternoon simply because not sure if it's open.
Adult Toaster Strudles. What more could you ask for when adulting... a little slice of serenity. I get the Madagascar Coffee with Almond milk and I've never regretted anything I've purchased. Banana breads, Sour Dough's, Muffins... I hate keylime pie, accidently tried thiers and I loved it. My GF and I stock up every other day on the treats as they make great late night snacks!!
Sloanes is one of my new favorite places to go to and sit down to do work or meet with friends.Usually I have a hard time buying pastrys and coffee from places because other shops tend to load them with so much artificial sugar that they aren't enjoyable because it leads me straight into sugar highs that induce anxiety, but sloanes is fantastic if you are sensitive to sugar like me and basically the only place near by that I can eat a few pastry or even slices of pie and still feel like myself afterwards.. that and the flavors are incredible!So far my favorite are the Danishes (which if you get a fruit one, it's basically an adult toaster strudle and will take you back to the 90s) , key lime pie and the Retro Coffee ☕
Out of this world delicious!! I stopped here for a last minute need of 40 pastries/ desserts. They were so kind and even baked fresh chocolate chip cookies for my order (that are ridiculously delicious) then went over and beyond and boxed everything up for me in my own boxes that I was dropping off at a Alzheimer’s and Dementia Support Group in Dallas. Im still getting messages on how delicious and thankful the group is for the treats.So excited to have a bakery in town and a great one at that! I haven’t had a chance to try their coffee yet but I can’t wait to do so! Thank you guys!
