Stuffed mushrooms and fried alligator appetizers were good but the blackened mahi mahi entree was outstanding and the cheesecake was very good as well. Good relaxed open atmosphere and good service
Jules was out server today. She was amazing! You have to try this restaurant in Rockwall. The seafood is absolutely delicious! We ordered garlic bread, stuffed mushrooms, grilled fish with crab topping, and for dessert banana bread. I can't wait until we dine here again. This will be our weekly stop. The staff is very friendly and make you feel welcome from the time you walk in the door. What a wonderful experience! High five to you Jules!!
If you like seafood this is a great spot. I’ve dined in for brunch, lunch, dinner and takeout. Delicious every time.
I tried this place awhile back and had the worst snow crab. It put me off enough to stay away for 2 years. Last Friday, I decided to give it another try. The snow crab was just as terrible as before. And it's some of the priciest I've seen at $29.99/lb. Way too much money for bland AF crab. Snow crab is supposed to be sweet, but this lacked any flavor whatsoever. The meat is not supposed to adhere to the cartilage when removed, but the crab at this place rips, tears, and doesn't come clean off the cartilage. As another reviewer stated, it definitely tastes like it's been frozen, thawed, refrozen, and thawed again. It was just plain bad. The stuffed mushrooms were pretty tasty, but not enough to redeem both culinary experiences.
My family took me there for Father’s Day and it was great , we had fish, shrimp, gator, calamari, fries and hush puppies, plus cold beer . And all was great and so was our server, plus we had plenty of ketchup !
Another fantastic meal...went there for Mother's Day. Excellent jumbo shrimp fried perfectly to a golden brown, deliciously tender on the inside and crunchy on the outside.The calamari was fried perfectly and had a tasty kick of heat in the batter that makes it better that your average calamari you find at other places.Had the key lime pie this trip instead of chocolate cake. Some of the BEST key lime pie I have ever tasted. They put a kiwi syrup under the pie and fresh strawberry garnish on the side and topped with real whip cream. 10 out of 10 Highly recommend! Not to mention outstanding service!!! Family friendly and also has a fantastic bar.

The food was alright, but for a "fish restaurant" I was disappointed that they don't have ketchup on all the tables like all of the other fish restaurants I've been to. I ordered the catfish and fries, for me, that requires a lot of ketchup, they only brought me two little things of ketchup. So I asked if they could bring me a bottle of ketchup, and I was told no, that they only have one bottle of ketchup, so they brought me a bowl half full of ketchup. I though that was very odd. Just buy some table top ketchup bottles like other restaurants do!
First time trying this place out. I love crab cakes and it’s tough even finding a seafood restaurant that serves them as an actual entree meal. And then when I do find a place, I go there and they tell me they are out. Well, not here! They had my crab cakes and they were hands down the best crab cakes I have had in DFW! Next time I may order a side or rice with it which they do have. Also, the hush puppies were great as well. Some seafood restaurants make them so small and their full of grease. Again, not here! They were perfection here! Right size and favorable with no grease! We got the banana bread pudding to go (too full to eat it there). Haven’t tried it yet but I’m sure it will not disappoint. Also the Cadillac Margarita was great as well. Hats off to the chef and cooks in the kitchen. The wait staff was great as well. We definitely will be back!
