No complaints whatsoever about the staff, but the food was not what I remember. I got the chicken fajitas and they were okay. My wife ordered beef enchiladas and they were burnt; the waitress promptly replaced her order with cheese enchiladas, and they also had a burnt taste. The chips were overcooked, beans had a burnt flavor and honestly nothing was good enough to make us want to ever eat here again.
First and last time dining. Service was not the best. Food definitely not authentic tasting or even good. Used my bank card to pay and left it in the ticket book. Missed the card and called. They had it. Went back described my card and the name on it. 3 ladies asked me for my id to get my card back hence never asked for my id to use it to pay for the bad food and service received from the same restaurant. The same waiter who waited on me standing right there just looked and said nothing. The hostess that seated me was one of these 3 people asking for my id. I realized it’s because I didn’t physically match the name on the card. As I walk away I hear the ladies say “she’s not Mexican” apparently thinking the name I just said and printed on the card vs my physical features don’t match their idea of who a hispanic person should look like so they give me a hard time. Afro Latina people exist in this world and my name has a right to be one of a Hispanic heritage. It is just sad and I’m poor taste what happened at this restaurant. I will not be returning. I got my card back finally but not without experiencing racism.
Unique and authentic street food flavors. The food is beautiful and very tasty. One of my favorites for this type of cuisine. You feel they put a lot of effort into the food and overall experience.Try the Frozen Jalapeno Margarita.
Although the hosting staff and our server and alcoholic drinks were great and the manager even checked on us during our visit, however my party and I were challenged by the menu selections and did not enjoy our dinner. I haven't patronized Mi Cocina in about ten years or so my recent visit reminded me why. As I understand everyone's tastes are different we just didn't enjoy the items we ordered.
I love the ceviche pineapple!? However, on today(3-4-22), I must have come in the mist of shift change, I didn’t get my leaf, my shrimp weren’t the same sizes, ALL of my vegetables were cut in chunks, including my pineapple pieces. I just recently started working in Rockwall and was going to make my weekend treat this location. Welp, it’s Dallas for me!!!Lunch shift was on point this past Monday I may stick to that shift on that day! ??♀️???♀️
My wife and I had dinner here. Not what we remembered, then again the last time we dine in at Mi Cocina was 20 years ago. Service was ok it could've been better but our server was young. Best thing about the evening is when I ordered a specialty appetizer and t our server said " wow!" "nobody knows about that item only our good regulars". That made our dinner better.
I must confess that surely she is a skilled professional trader and the best among all, as her clients all said, I saw so many positive reviews about Mrs Mrs Mariel Ramsey, and she managed my account after I Invested $1000 and got a successful withdrawal of $10,200 within few days of my investment, "It always seems impossible until it’s done"., with Mrs Mariel Ramsey your hard-earned money is 100% secured/Safe You can contact her via Email: [email protected] WhatsApp +19736928825.
We love our mi Cocina. Great food drinks and atmosphere
Good food. Great chips. I'm sorry to say this restaurant is overpriced on some items. $18 for a small combination fajita quesadilla with only sour cream and a small spoon of guacamole is very high. No beans or rice.
I expected a great experience. It was pretty good. The service was very good, the food was okay. I expected a better meal.
