This food tasted like microwaved frozen food. Not good at all. It was served to us lukewarm or cold. This has happened twice. So disappointed because the other locations at least serve hot food for the price. If you like lukewarm food and not having a place to sit because the tables are still covered after others left, this is your place.I won’t be back again.
We had this great Host, Laurel G! She was so sweet and accommodating for my son who is on the Autism Spectrum. She doesn't know it, but my son was talking about the nice lady at Jason's the whole ride home and few days after. Thank you for making such a positive experience for everyone when dining out!
We stopped in for lunch and ordered the Quarter Muffaletta Special w/ Baked Chips and Tomato Basil soup, Nutty Mixed-Up Wrap, Kids Mac & Cheese, and Kids Chicken Alfredo. I've always enjoyed their Muffaletta and it's good here too! They have the salad bar and complimentary ice cream on a cone. Nice and clean place. Friendly staff.
Crazy busy at this location. Had to wait for a table to be cleared. Friendly service. Salad bar was fresh and well stocked.A bit pricey, but not bad for all you care to eat salad bar.
I used to think Jason’s Deli was THE best restaurant value out here. The food, quality, and options were great for the price paid. Some locations in Dallas and Richardson had such character as well. However, in the last few years, the prices seemed to skyrocket for deli sandwiches and their new model of pop up stores in strip malls was HORRIBLE. The location in Rockwall has a television in the worst location and plays Jason's Deli videos over and over. The interior is cramped despite a wide-open warehouse style vibe.I haven't been to the restaurant in a few years after dining there about once per week previously.Terrible new floor plans, too expensive now for a turkey sandwich, and sterile dining environment. What happened to you Jason’s Deli?
One staff member made the visit so much less than expected. She was disinterested, argumentative, unprofessional and rude all rolled into what she called herself - one of the managers. Order was wrong. I took the plate back to the counter. Waited, kept waiting. Tried to get her attention, but she was too involved chatting with another employee to notice. When another worker finally pointed out that I was waiting, she finally came over. I told her my order was wrong. So her rant began that it was my fault. It went downhill from there. What an unacceptable attitude this young lady exhibited. When she did bring the re-made sandwich to the table, her insolence continued. I asked if there was a manager on duty. She said she was one of the managers. I asked to speak with someone that was not her. Stomp, stomp, huff, puff. When another person arrived to ask the problem, I explained my issue with the smart mouthed girl. I also explained that the young lady taking the order was pleasant and friendly. Her name tag was Jasmine. No issue with her at all. Yet, jasmine got a lecture. We could hear it — place was empty. Who didn’t get a lecture? The arguing so called manager. Empty place. Two ordering customers in the place. She extended no apology. What a turn off for a place we usually enjoy. If there is a true manager or owner who reads this, you have a person there who could use some training in customer service in a big way. 2nd manager offered a gift card. Didn’t take it. That is not what the problem was. The problem was all about the lack of attention to service for ONE employee — the one who made the meal then decided to be much less than a manager could be.
Food quality is always good. Sometimes sandwiches may be just thrown together or falling apart. Sometimes they’re great. I have ordered pick up online and have waited nearly an hour after the pickup time for my order. Wait times can range 15 min-50 min past pick up time. This location has missed GLUTEN FREE BREAD on orders. I love Jason’s Deli but this location has been pretty upsetting from time to time.
WONDERFUL service and awesome food. This place stays busy and the workers are constantly moving. The young lady that takes orders in front at drive thru and does others things to keep the flow she is awesome! I wish I got her name she is a great employee!
Horrible store, long wait, dirty store
Frankly disappointing. The never ending salad bar is now very explicitly "single visit" and a bit sparse.Continuous ads for Jason's Deli play on large screens in an otherwise bland, featureless dining area.Soda fountain offers free refills, though
