What a fabulous sushi date night! My husband and I were very pleasantly surprised with the changes implemented by the new owners. The new menu is AWESOME!! We had the gyoza, “Linda” roll, and a Hawaiian roll. Not to be dramatic - but the “Linda” roll was so good that it brought a tear to my eye. Delicious and very fresh. Awesome drinks and great service as always. Already looking forward to our next visit. Congrats to the new owners!!
I have been here more than once, my first visit deserved a strong 4 stars and my second visit really shouldn't get 2 stars. The food is pretty good, maybe the fried items a touch over cooked. My beef with this place comes from experience number 2. I was alone looking for a bar to park myself at to have a few drinks and burn a couple hours eating and visiting with other patrons, all of my hopes were dashed when a mother and child sat next to me at the BAR! Children do not belong at the BAR! People around you engaged in adult conversations, drinking cocktails, no other children in sight! I simply paid for my beer and left, I didn't come to the BAR to hang out with children. Otherwise, the prior visit food was fine, the bartenders suggestion for sushi roll was delicious!
Me and my husband tried this place for the first time and we will NEVER come back. Walking in, the floors were so dirty and sticky. When we arrived to our table we almost fell sliding in a puddle of water next to our booth. When we sat down the table looked as if it were smeared with grease. We had to ask out server to clean it again. The chandelier was so dirty and full of dust, we were scared it was going to fall in our food. We ordered the steak noodles and they were so gross. The noodles were so sticky and it had no flavor. By this time we were hungry and upset but still decided to give the sushi a chance. When the sushi came we were done. The sushi wasn’t even fully rolled and the fish looked so unappealing. We left and will NEVER come back.
They have an 18% gratuity. Food is not the best, but it was good nonetheless. Helen was a great server, really took care of us . Food came out at a decent time
The food was wonderful. The staff has few hiccups, but I've been told they have a lot of new people. I told our server the menu was a little sticky. . . and she didn't offer to replace it. So I wiped it down and asked her to show the manager. You could see the stuff I wiped off on the napkin. Other than that, the tables were clean and the waitstaff seemed happy, which makes for a pleasant atmosphere. The Sushi Chefs were clearly putting out a lot of product quickly. They were busy, but we didn't have to wait very long for our platter. I will be back.
Sushi was good and fresh as you can get for Rockwall and the spicy edamame hit the spot in spice.I will go again .

Great, fresh, sushi. Has a diverse Japanese menu, including hibachi and bento boxes. Not crazy about the ginger dressing, but it won’t keep me from returning.
This restaurant has a nice atmosphere. I had a blue dream , calamari, and sushi during happy hour. I like the variety of sushi they have to offer. And the calamari with the spicy sauce that comes with it is very tasty!
Went for lunch. Our server was very friendly. For an appetizer we ordered the Soft Shell Crab which came on a large bed of imitation crab meat (like 2 cups worth). The crab had a nice crunchy batter, would get again. Also tried the Volcano Roll. Nice size portion for $15. Probably should've just had those two dishes but we over did it by ordering two bento boxes too. Lots of food for two people unless you're super hungry. The chicken teriyaki was ok. Needed a little more sauce. The edamame was slightly over cooked, some pieces were a little mushy. The salad had a nice light dressing with a good flavor. The bento boxes come with 2 spring rolls that were freshly fried. The tempura bento box didn't come with the usual dipping sauce, maybe it was forgotten but we didn't ask for it since we were already full. Total bill was about $65. Overall we enjoyed it and would love to try some of the other rolls.
