Spent $70 would have been $85 with out the fathers day promo. We placed the order lastnight for 7:30pm pick up today. It took 20-30 minutes for the order to finally be ready. All of the sliced brisket was completely full of fat throughout the middle of the slices. We did not recieve 2 of our sides. We were missing barbecue sauces. Even the pecan pie that I hoped would save the meal was terrible. We should have just gone to Soulmans like we planned but the fathers day deal lured us in. Even the kids were excited for the dinosaur nuggets as advertised on the the website but that was not what we recieved.
They have good food, but they have horrible customer service! There is always someone that is very rude here. Not sure of the workers name but everytime I come in there a male with a mustache who gives me and my girlfriend an attitude. We live here in rockwall and avoid this dickey's BBQ because of the customer service. Ice cream machine always out of order.
In the past I've had great service from Dickey's in Dallas, Rockwall location I was very disappointed. I place order on Friday for a delivery for some important clients and guess what I never received it, I called for them to tell me they don't have any extra drivers we need to pick it up. Very unprofessional.
The toilet bowl in the womens restroom was awful. Stocked with 6 rolls of toilet tissue but they can’t clean the bowl.
Smokey meat deliciousness! 2 meet plate w brisket and pulled pork was amazing.
This place was a lifesaver! They are open and ready to serve during this winter storm! Got an XL box to feed some friends and me!
Everything was so delicious. We each got 2 meat plates and shared. I tried the sausage, ribs, and pulled pork. Loved all of them.
Update: I received a response within a few hours of posting this (not shown here for some reason, they removed it) asking me to email them. I did and have not received a response as of 09-21-21.___________________Something fishy is going on at this location.I have worked in restaurants...this was weird. We ordered two pulled pork sandwhich plates (one with cole slaw/fries, the other with mac/baked potato casserole) with two waters.Total came to slightly over $26...I objected that it couldn't be that high. The girl at the counter agreed and adjusted the order saying she didn't realize my husband had also gotten a sandwhich like I did. She mentioned that it was only a .50 difference.Still came to $26...She said the price had gone up.The menu currently stated $10...I pointed this out.The guy (manager, I'm assuming) cuts in to say the prices went up two weeks ago by $2.00 and the new menu sign wasn't in yet. I asked for him to correct it to the price posted because you don't make someone food letting them think it's one price then blindsiding them at the register with 20% higher tab.My husband didn't want to make a fuss over $4.We go sit down to eat.I was so bugged by this I checked the online ordering menu. Pulled pork sanwhich plate was $10 online.I took that to the girl to show her this. She said she chose the Pulled pork plate by accident (I'm confused what she changed in the beginning when she acknowledged we both had sandwhich plates). I asked why the price online was cheaper than they claimed but she didn't know. I asked her if the prices had actually been raised as they claimed she said they had, all but the pulled pork plate (this time). She offered to give us cookies...meaning we still would have paid for them since they're 2.00 on the menu?I told her to handle the customer coming to her counter and would let her know after asking my husband. In the meantime, my husband saw the online menu had Pulled pork plates for $12.00 meaning that price had not been raised as they claimed either....What the heck is going on...lies...but why???So I told her I wanted to talk to her again. He tried to intercept me but I wanted to talk to her. I asked if this was intentional. She claimed it wasn't but I confronted her that he did lie about the menu nd that I would like a $4 refund for the price difference. She asked him to process the refund of $4.He stated he would give me cash, patted his sides like he would take it from his pocket, opened the drawer without typing anything into the register POS, held out a $5 bill and asked if that would work.I have never been offered more of a cash refund than I requested, so that's a first.I took the $5, said yes, and he intentionally kept my receipt. I anticipated this and had already taken a photo of it. I didn't bother asking their names because she said they're so short handed they're the only ones there.I don't know what is going on here but she seemed to be sincere that it was a mistake but this guy is mismanaging this place to pieces...till, inventory, lies, overcharging customers, and that's all I witnessed in our quick visit.Smells scammy....
