A group of friends and I gather for Breakfast around 5am Friday mornings. We've talked about trying Denny's for a change and so at least FOUR TIMES now within as many weeks We've gone to Denny's for a change. THIS OPEN 24/7 DAYS A WEEK HAS BEEN CLOSED EACH TIME!! IT MAKES ME WONDER WHAT THEIR FOOD IS LIKE
Waited 45 mins for 2 pancakes and an omelette . Came in with my daughter to have breakfast before her Piano class . I understood that we were not going to get our food . Walked out . Disgusted at the service . It was not even packed . What a waste of an establishment. Never going to this location again . FYI if your planning to go to Dennys in rockwall , pack some food because your not getting anything for an hour or so . Thank you .
Extremely rude wait staff. Zero degree of concern for patrons. Manager doesn't engage enough with staff to keep them task oriented. I ordered lumberjack slam, took over an hour to receive my food. They told me my first order was thrown away because they didn't know who it belonged to. Don't waste your time or money.
The server was courteous and very attentive! The food was delicious and cooked just right!
Well it's Dennys. It was clean. the waitress was kind and helpful. We enjoyed our lunch. They made my eggs perfectly the way I described them for the cook. I was super stoked because I'm on a weird diet at the moment. Our table and utensils were all clean. Servicethrough out was good. We will go back some time in the future.
Dennys in Rockwall is horrible. No wonder there only like 6 cars here. It’s not busy at all and I’m out here in the curbside pickup waiting for someone to answer the phone. Called over and over for literally 10 mins and then had to go in. I asked if the phones worked and all I got was a “I don’t know”.
Choice: warm fries without ketchup or cold fries with ketchup.I normally enjoy a simple weeknight meal at Denny's... but I think I'll try again once they get rid of their stupid pandemic hysteria protocols.The menu has been reduced substantially. I guess with the stupid supply chain issues compounded with outrageous inflation, they had to scrape together a menu their target audience could live with. That's fine. They have plenty of decent options.Ever yearn for those old days when you were a kid back in grade school? Denny's is recreating a bit of that nostalgia. They only provide plastic silverware, so don't order anything that needs to be cut. The plastic they do provide is flimsy & worthless. The flimsy plastic knife is great for flinging food across the restaurant, but that's all it's good for. The cruddy plastic fork isn't good for anything but mashed potatoes. You get one napkin with your plastic fork, which is equally as worthless. You'd have to go back to the 4th grade public school cafeteria to get this kind of stuff. I guess I should be thankful it wasn't a spork. This is all part of their silly Covid safety protocols. Ironic that we get a global disaster of a disease from China, then buy their cruddy plastic silverware as part of disease spread mitigation measures. Someone shoot me.Denny's has fantastic soups but I noticed there wasn't a spoon in the packet. So I'm unsure what people who order soup might be required to do.The servers are polite but seem to disappear into a mist after they take your order, and you don't see them again till they drop off your food. If you want anything at all like ketchup, that's the time to ask. If you don't you won't see them again... seemingly ever. About half an hour later they magically materialize once again to give you your check and take your money.I don't know where they go. There were only two tables occupied including my own. They must be in a secret room tweeting pics of me eyeing the room for a server. The meme caption must say "Desperate for Ketchup looks like this". I'll bet they have a 30 minute timer set to do their table rounds.Oh well. I normally like a weeknight Denny's trip but if I for some reason take leave of my senses and go again soon, I'll bring my own silverware, ketchup, salt, pepper, hot sauce and napkins.
The female manager had me wait in line for 45 min just to tell me they're gonna have to wait an hour before taking my order because they were behind on orders. SMH...
My first time at this location. The cheeseburger was awesome with season fries. I was hesitant to order the burger. Was so juicy. Customer service was great. Looks like it’s under new management. No wait time to be seated. Clean restaurant and great service. Management really stepped it up here. Food came out less then 15 min. Good job guys
Came in for lunch and our server Marco was great! There was no wait time, great food and fast service! First time here and we will be back!
