We walked out even before we ordered. Drinking waters were served in disposable plastic cups. We looked at the only other table there at the time and their food was served in paper plates. Funny thing is, the owner’s kid was eating at another table using regular dishes. Menu prices are wayyy too high given the quality of the service. Since they couldn’t even seem to be bothered to wash plates/utensils for their paying customers, I didn’t want to even take a chance what the food quality would have been like.
They served our drinks in plastic red Solo cups, and our sushi on Dixie paper plates. Waiter had earphones on and customer service was below average while sushi was way overpriced.
Called to place an order and confirmed that they are still not open for dine in services. As soon as I asked she hung on me. I went back to look at the reviews because it appears people have been going inside to eat. I called her back to confirm and she again said no dine in and she was confused why people were saying they had eaten inside.I really miss the food and the ambiance the place once had. I guess it is no more.
Great restaurant! The dumpling soup had lots of flavor. The japanese fried rice was great as well, even my picky toddler loved it!
Worst chicken Pad Thai I have ever had! It was so bad that I thought they gave me the wrong order. So I called the owner and she started yelling at me, then hung up on me! Terrible first experience and will certainly be the last! If anyone is looking for good customer service and food go to Koung Thai!
I called to see how late they were open, she said 8pm and failed to mention that they are only doing take out..... Please update your Google maps to tell people that you aren't doing dine in!
Love this place! Best kept secret in Rockwall!
Enjoyed the food, the wait wasn't long.
I came in to make a take out order. No other customers were in the store.. The to-go server told me that she'd be right back; that's fine and dandy by me. I kindly told her that I'd be ready to place my order when she returned. While she was out, a gentleman walked in and walked ahead of me in the line. But clearly, I was here first. When the server returned, she completely ignored me by assisting the gentlemen that came in after me. I simply walked out and decided to go to a franchise instead.
I used to really like eating at this restaurant. Once covid hit, they never reopened which is fine and their choice. Now when we place a to go order, they charge a convenience fee, a tip, and 4% to use a credit card. Yes, a tip of their choosing it seems because I entered $3 and it was changed to $6. It sounds like they won’t survive end are having a hard time paying the bills so they are squeezing every dollar out of each order. Very sad to say this was my last visit and a small local business I will no longer be supporting.
