This has been our go-to for years, but tonight may be the last. If you're ordering take-out, just know that the spice level may vary, I guess depending on the kitchen staff. We ordered General Tso's and Mongolian Chicken (usually barely spicy), but we (family of 4) could barely finish a single serving and had to toss it. We promptly called them to mention it and basically got lectured on why we can't handle spicy food. They mentioned that we could return it, but bagging the order up and driving it back wasn't in the cards. Main takeaway, just be careful on take-out orders.
Very very nice. The prices are great, the portions are great, the kids menu is great. We ate dine-in, and the food came pretty fast
I have ordered take out twice and both times my order has been wrong. For the second time they don't want to make my entire order, they offer to give me a credit for the next time but that doesn't work for me because there will be no next time because of the bad attitude of the owner. Plus I had to drive back to get my refund even though he made sure my order was wrong. I do not recommend this restaurant at all.Having to obtain a credit for the next time and eating cold is not an option for any client, less so for those who frequently go to a restaurant. From the beginning we asked that they make us the complete order again because we don't want to eat cold, as the owner didn't want to, we asked for the complete refund. My boyfriend, when he went to pick up the order, asked the owner if he made sure that the food was not spicy and he replied that it was not spicy. We told you guys to make sure the food wasn't spicy because it happened once before and this time we weren't going to eat cold food like last time. We will not eat cold again. The worst thing is that you lost two customers who often went to eat there. We looked for another restaurant nearby, it's called Asian Chef, I recommend them, good service, good food, they prepared our order well, the egg rolls are excellent. They gained two clients.
Yumi is my go to Chinese restaurant because the location is perfect and the food is amazing! My family and I normally order shrimp fried rice, house or shrimp lomi, beef with broccoli, egg rolls, chicken with corn soup.
Yumi Cafe is hands down one of the best Chinese restaurants in Houston. Some of best fried rice. I come here quite often and they are consistent.
Very clean and staff was very nice. Food has always been wonderful and very fresh!!!
Family of 4: 2 adults, 2 kids. We ordered 1 shrimp fried rice, 1 shrimp lo mein and asked for hot oil sauce. Quantity was great. Price was reasonable. My only suggestion to improve would be to use pan fried, not deep fried shrimp in both dishes. The shrimp got soggy when we brought it home to eat.Hot oil sauce was very tasty and perfectly spicy. This is coming from an Indian that loves spicy food.
Absolutely amazing taste and so fresh. This will have to be the new go to. Portions are family sharing size. Ordered through DoorDash and unfortunately there was no tip option.
Huge portions, huge pieces of white meat chicken in the General Tzo’s, the fried rice is awesome. A staple of mine, never disappoints.
Great flavors, super friendly staff. My favorite Chinese food in Cinco Ranch/Fulshear/Pecan Grove/Richmond/Rosenberg.
