This Torchy's has issues. Placed a scheduled pickup order online on a week night with about an hour lead time, and when I got there, food still wasn't ready. There was a small crowd of people (who were growing increasingly annoyed) all standing around waiting to get their orders too. The staff didn't really seem remotely interested in helping anyone or getting orders out to people -- seemed to be doing their best to ignore the customers as much as possible, other than taking the occasional dine-in order. There were a few bags sitting behind the counter and no one was calling out names on the orders, even when a new one came out. Someone would just emerge from the kitchen, set it down, and go back in. At least call out the name on the order when it comes out and there's a bunch of people standing there waiting. Didn't seem like anyone was managing the restaurant (if there was, it wasn't evident at all) and the employees seemed kind of aimless. Also was obviously understaffed which I'm sure was leading to employee frustration/burnout.The food was fine, it's Torchy's. Pretty expensive on a per-taco basis, quality at this location seems hit or miss.
Went for the first time today with my girlfriend. The Scallywag taco and Scallywag margarita are a great combination. You won't regret ordering them. I created a Torchy account and got a free appetizer to use right away. Just like they advertise the food is Damn Good.
What a menu, took a minute to decide but was so great!! Daughter got the grande burritos and couldn't finish it, it was so packed full of goodness. Chicken fajita taco was amazing! On point. Drinks were good but a little small for the price. Great atmosphere. Will be back!
I actually like Torchy's. Been eating Torchy's for almost a decade. This location is a freaking train wreck. Employees are rude. You can see employees playing around in the kitchen through the glass. Food here is pathetic....the photo is literally how they wrapped the ace of spades taco I ordered....they threw the two tortillas on there just enough to cover it and wrapped it in foil. Been here four times and three of those times are freaking horrible. This is the last time I'm spending my money here and no I do not recommend this location. The Cinco Ranch location is a hundred times better. I'll definitely drive an extra 10 minutes away to get good service.
Been coming here for a few months and I can say without a doubt their tacos are pretty good. It's better than other fast food locations nearby. Lots of flavor usually and pretty good portion size for the price.Unfortunately they have their flaws and one of the most notable is the hit or miss on whether or not your order is correct. I think I've maybe had two orders come out of 15 which is substantial. Usually it's something small like not putting potatoes in the taco, or putting in Pico when it wasn't ordered. Sometimes they don't give you the right amount of tacos and that can be extremely frustrating.Which leads me to the last point, Management. I don't think I've had a bad conversation yet with any manager. They're always quick to refund me or replace the order for free, I usually just forget but knowing that they put their names behind their refund process helps ease the pain.All I can ask from them is please, for the love of God, read the orders.
Brown guacamole as you can see in the picture. And when I called I was told they don't do Curbside even though I see curbside listed here. They gave me the wrong salsa. Chips were old. Tacos weren't good. All the food was poor.
My husband and I stopped in this location for the first time today this afternoon. We have lived down the street for 10 years, we were happy to see Torchy's came here. It was great! Loved our taco choices and the serving of avocado salsa and chips was huge. Restaurant and restrooms were clean, the guy who took our order was great. Made sure there was enough avocado salsa before we paid, re-read our order and made sure we each had the tortillas we wanted. Great experience.
Every time I call this restaurant no one answers the phone. Had a question in and order and no one answered after calling several times. I’m sure you all weren’t that busy!!!
Restaurant is not clean. The food is mediocre and doesn’t taste fresh. The beverage station was sticky and there were flies all around
Great, flavorful tacos. Torchy's has some excellent items on the menu.When we want something with a little spice and good value for the price, we drop by Torchy's.This new location is very convenient to our home so we couldn't wait to try it out once they opened.Minus one Star because on this particular day, they weren't paying attention to the soft drink station and several sodas were out and they were completely out of tea!The patio was nice and made for a quick relaxing bite enjoying a late afternoon breeze.The staff were cheerfully responsive and service was fast, except for no one paying attention to the soft drink station and having limited drink choices.
