I had seen it talked about on Facebook so we tried it out. And wow what a great place friendly staff good service and amazing pizza. We make our own pizza in our pizza oven but have to say they make a great pizza we will be back for sure!!!!!!!!!!
Ate there last night for the first time, and as a Chicagoan it was definitely great to finally have a little slice of home around Houston. My only feedback about the Rosati Deep Dish is that the crust was lacking buttery flavor and chewiness. We order 3 Deep Dish and 2 pan pizza pies and our deep dish crust tasted like a hard cracker. We ended up just eating only the top and using the crust as a plate. Other than that, very fresh ingredients, the sausage was incredible and the sauce was just right. In time it has potential to be Lou Malnatis, but not quite there yet.
Ordered a large deep dish pizza and salad online for a To Go order. My order was ready by the time I got to the restaurant and everything was delicious and enjoyed by all! Pizza was prepared as requested and we’re anxious to try it again!
We popped in on a Sunday when they had first opened. Great spot for families! We ordered a deep dish. I know they take a long time to cook but we were there waiting for an hour and half at least. That’s he’s with little kids. I don’t know if maybe the ovens were not preheated already. Just be prepared to wait. The pizza was good but after that long of a wait I still think it might have needed to have been cooked more.The bbq chicken wings were excellent!
Pizza was so good! Stuffed crust means the whole pie is stuffed not just the exterior. This is our new favorite pizza place! Only critique is that we had a topping for only half the pizza and had no idea which half we were eating since the sauce is on top. It was adults eating that pizza so we just set aside what we didn’t like but I could see it being trouble with kids. Wasn’t an issue with thin crust just the stuffed crust. Fried mushrooms were good as well and cinnamon sticks were really addictive!
First time ordering from here. I was not disappointed (other than the high price for a 12” pizza). Pizza had a lot of flavor and was not loaded with garlic, so there was no gross after taste. Hard to find a place that doesn’t serve greasy, garlicky, and bland pizza… you guys make a great pizza!I would consider a change from grub hub, though. They hung up on me twice, never provided updates, and never told me it was delivered (ahead of my delivery request time).
We’re really disappointed in this place. We decided to try it, based on mostly positive reviews and the Chicago deep dish pizza. I placed an order for delivery with an issue. Pretty simple order, and it was placed in the oven pretty quickly. After almost an hour, of the pizza in the oven, the order was cancelled by the store and given this reason, “Your Rosati's Pizza (Richmond) order was unfortunately canceled because some of the item(s) in the order are currently unavailable.” Why did it take more than an hour to tell me some items weren’t available? Shouldn’t that have been determined before the pizza went in the oven? Pretty poor customer service, to say the least. They are supposed to refund my payment…in 5-7 business days. Stay tuned. Think I’ll look elsewhere next time.
When I need a taste of Chicago, I stop by for a pizza. It's very tasty and satisfies my cravings. I prefer thin crust pizza over deep dish and have had both here. They're both good, but if you haven't had a deep dish pizza, you gotta try it. Heck, order both and have fun???
I ordered 2 take out pizza’s. They were ready when I arrived. I have never been disappointed with Rosati’s Pizza. It’s the best pizza in Texas. Rosati’s is 1/2 hour from my house, but it’s worth the drive.
Well... the first time I ordered was a delivery service. I placed and order over the phone. It took TWO hours and a second call for me to receive the delivery. I live a 5 minute car drive away from the restaurant. If I knew it was going to take that long I would have pick it up myself, I have 2 kids to feed and as any other parent would understand 2 hours is a long time!!!!My second time was this past Nov 2nd, this time I placed the order online and requested curbside. We had just arrived from the airport and we were tired and hungry. The person who took the order said it was a 20 min wait. Well...my husband waited outside the restaurant an additional 15 minutes, no text that the order was ready. In fact he received the text the next day ?. Anyways he ended up going inside the restaurant and asking for the order. When he got home with the food I realized the order was incomplete, I had paid for additional items none of the two were in my order and the tiramisu looked like it had a rough time.Normally after this service I would not give another chance. The food is great but the service not and this errors in a consistent manner should not happen.Maybe management can reach back ?
