The food is great, but not the service in the drive-through. I understand that they are timed, but they aren't even polite and they leave things out of your bags that you have paid for. At the current cost of gas, no one actually want to go back and forth to this restaurant because they can't do their jobs right. Please take the time to double check your bag(s) to your receipt(s).
Ordered through the drive-thru. While the service is fast(virtually no wait) and friendly, the food itself was of extremely terrible quality, and should have never been served to a customer.I received chicken nugget sized tenders and cold, greasy fries. Theres should be no good reason that my meal was room temperature before I even leave the parking lot??♂️Considering how many reviews allude to this similar problems, there obviously needs to be changes made immediately.
Seriously, this is a 3 piece chicken strip? The 6 piece strip I ordered was the same way. The buffalo ranch chicken sandwich had neither buffalo nor ranch. All I could taste was bitter cooking oil. This location was actually really good not too long ago, but some how it’s managed to turn into every other Popeye’s location I’ve ever been to…..A dumpster fire. At least the staff at this location is nice and friendly, unlike others I’ve gone to.
No place is perfect. But after looking at these review's, I wish I would have read them before placing my order. Will try Louisiana Chicken down the street. Those that asked to talk to the manager, I wouldn't be surprised if when they told you that you are talking to the manager that it was a lie to save himself. At 10pm I went to google maps on my PC to see how late they were open and it said 11pm. So I went to menu signed into Popeye account to place an order for pick up. Left immediately and is about a 10 minute drive. Pull up to window because no one answering the speaker and there is only the clean up guy. He tells me they close at 10pm. They really need to change that info on Google and the website you order on. I went back to the website and used the Help link to be sure and get a refund, as the charge was posted immediately to my bank acct. Will never go here again. You would think the owner of this place would monitor these comments and do something about what is going on here and respond to the comments that something is being done. Evidently the owner doesn't care either. I will be sending something to corporate and see if they care.
Ok I’ve been to this Popeyes a handful of times and usually it’s a long wait but food is usually good..but today I ordered a 8 piece family meal as well as other combos total of 8 piece was 21.99 plus tax and well the 2 leg pieces and the wings were fresh but the chicken breast and thighs were old!! So old it was crispy and was not edible at all..I called the 1877 Popeyes and they were no help and called the store and they said I had to take the crispy chicken back and then they could refund problem is it’s not close to my home I just go there when I go to the dr appointment and I told them this and they said that I can save the chicken and bring it when I can..why wouldI hold on to chicken for that long..makes no sense I told them I had pics of chicken and I could email them and they said corporate doesn’t let them give refunds on chicken unless it’s approved by the main owner cause they have to see it for themselves..smh will not be going to this Popeyes will stick to the one by my home..
This has got to be one of the worse Popeye's in Houston area. I ordered at the drive-thru on 4/4/22 some dude answered, "Yo". I gave my order then he said, "window", i guess that translates to "please go to the window". When I got there, I ask the dude, "are you the manager?" He said, "yes". He WAS the manager!Popeye's if you have a rude manager taking care of your store, you will not be in business for long. This store needs a complete revamp of the attitude and management. Corporate needs to know what's going on here! The dine-in is always closed, and management is pathetic.
drove thru for Sunday dinner...Got home to open Red Beans & Rice... was overwhelmed with the smell of spoiled food. There is no way they did not know this food is spoiled. Extremely upset that someone would serve a customer this. Called location to discuss matter and no answer. A REFUND, APOLOGY, and INSPECTION is owed.
Can’t even match the receipt to the order. Piss poor manager. I took the time to inform manager the order wasn’t right and I got uhhh. Yeah. Ok. Ummm. Yeah. Ok. I was shorted food. The line was longer then usual. 5cars. Food was cold and not what we ordered Major fail with no accountability So sad. I hope this doesn’t continue. Lunch staff is perfect. Evening staff doesn’t care
Worst Popeyes I've ever been to. First y'all give me old fries and fresh tenders. Ok. I'll wait for fresh ones. Then I ask for more rice than beans in my red beans and rice... first I only get all beans no rice. Second time all rice no beans and who is going to pay $13 for chicken tenders that look like chicken nuggets!!! Stop it. Manager has a horrible attitude and so do your workers. Don't eat here. Drive somewhere else.
Went yesterday, sat down to eat and this is what they gave me. I told the guy at the register he said they are all like that.Made no attempt to correct the problem. Not sure if the manager was there, they heard me talking about it.A half bowl of rice and red beans sauce with a FEW red beans.Growing up eating Popeyes red beans and rice this has never happen before. The bowl has always been filled to the top.
