I bought the General TSO there was too much breading and not enough meat. And as we all know if you don't eat the general cell within 5 to 10 minutes of it being cooked it gets hard and chewy.I also ordered egg drop soup and it had corn in it. I'm pretty sure that's not the original style of egg drop! The larger plates are extremely expensive like $25 ?
I stopped by for lunch while working around Sugarland TX. It literally took 5 minutes to get my food! That was SUPER FAST. I ordered the Kung Pao chicken with Egg Drop soup and some Egg Rolls. The food was delicious, the spicy oil was actually SPICY ? ? ? the only negative comment I can say is that this place is super small. About 15 people can sit in here. If they had this place near my home, i would order take-out from here often.Overall, 5 stars from me. Good food, fast service & friendly staff..
The food is truly delicious..I've ordered 3 times already and am always pleased
Love the lunch specials but never had anything bad of their menu. Sweet and spicy chicken and an unsweetened tea today
Great food and close to home. Employees are very friendly. This is my go to place for Chinese food.
Food is excellent, the prices are really great for the amount of food you get..
No silverware, only plastic. No soft drinks, only a limited supply of Gatorade and Coke products.
The worst Chinese food experience I’ve ever had. First, the lunch specials are all essentially the same dish. Chicken, chicken, and more chicken. I felt like beef, so I substituted the chicken in the “Mongolian” Chicken with beef. I got the hot and sour soup with the crab puff. I will say this- the food came quickly. The hot and sour soup came first and it was, by far, the best part about my order. Next, the “Mongolian” Beef came with the two crab puffs and a tablespoon of fried rice. The crab puffs were worse, far worse, than anything you can get from the frozen food section at WalMart. Being generous, there was maybe a teaspoon of puff material inside, surrounded by a soggy tasteless glob of batter. They were awful. The rice portion was tiny and tasteless, some was even still white. Now, to the beef and the sauce used to make it “Mongolian”. I counted four pieces of thin beef, small, and without any flavor of their own. Uncooked onions and a few peppers and such were there as well. The main issue was the sauce. I tried hard to like it, but I was left feeling that it was really just bbq sauce that was thinned out a bit. It all tasted waaaay to sweet for the dish it was supposed to be. Honestly, I’ve had mall Chinese food that blew this away. Coupled with the tiny cramped seating and the hanging light globes overhead that I hit my head on three times, and this is in the never again list for me.
Great food and very friendly owner(s).
