The.food. was ok, I order catfish, bbq shrimp, macandcheese, and peachcobbler. Catfish ok, I prefer my catfish fried in cornmeal, this had a flour like batter. Bbq Shrimp had this taste to it that I didnt.like, I just couldn't finish it. Mac and cheese was.missing cheese and the.peachcobbler didn't have.a.flaky crust.instead.was made.with pie.dough, I had.to.throw that away. So.I wasted 43.00 this.place is.overprice. I want be going.back.
This gem is a perfect spot for authentic New Orleans food. Me and my husband decided to take a 40 minute drive to Richmond and it was definitely worth it. The food was absolutely delicious and the drinks were strong and good. The owners and staff were definitely top tier and it felt very welcoming In the establishment. We will definitely be making several more trips to Mimi’s in the near future!!!
Hubby and I visited yesterday for dinner. The host was very friendly and the ambiance was nice. Our waitress had no enthusiasm whatsoever, very monotone, and no smile.My cocktail was very good. The food was decent. The loaded oysters were just ok, they probably would have been better fried. The greens were delicious. My husband said the red beans had no flavor. He's usually able to finish everything on his plate, but he couldn't finish those. The portions were fulfilling.We'd visit again, but it wouldn't be our first choice.
First time here, and we loved it. Great to see a family business do so well. The customer service was first class. The food was a delight. Will definitely be going back soon, oh and Morgan is absolutely wonderful very pleasant, very smart, young lady. We still can’t believe how she remembered all our orders without getting a thing wrong. ????????

THIS PLACE IS A HIDDEN GEM. VERY CHILL AND RELAXING ATMOSPHERE. THE ESTABLISHMENT WAS VERY CLEAN! THE EMPLOYEES WERE FRIENDLY AND THE SERVICE WAS GREAT. THE FOOD CAME OUT IN A TIMELY FASHION AND THE FOOD WAS DELICIOUS. THEY HAVE REALLY GOOD PROPORTIONS SIZES. THIS WAS MY FIRST TIME THERE AND I WILL DEFINITELY BE GOING BACK. I RECOMMEND TO ANYONE LOOKING FOR A SEAFOOD PLACE WITH LOTS OF VARIETY TRY MIMIS SEAFOOD! YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!

Excellent food and friendly staff. Stopped by for a late lunch and were seated immediately. Menu has a wide selection of comfort food.The beignets are some of the best I’ve had in a long time! Reminds me of New Orleans!Would recommend to any one looking to try authentic Cajun food.
