I don't understand how this place has such good reviews. Ordered the philly cheesesteak, no flavor and so dry. While I took my 2nd bite I felt something sharp. Not sure what that is but it definitely doesn't belong in there.. disgusting. Never again
We had Gyros Hero at work today at DOW with Fooda. These guys were so kind (with a generous spirit) and the food was delicious, better than halal guys in my opinion! Thank you!
Saw the reviews on this place and thought it was amazing. It is not. I got the combo gyro over rice and chicken shawarma and the chicken is the lowest quality on the market and the rice has no seasoning. The shawarma is not a legit shawarma. There is no garlic sauce inside nor fries like a traditional shawarma
If you’re looking for a great local halal restaurant in Richmond / Rosenberg area, look no further than Gyros Hero! The restaurant is inside the Chevron gas station, but don’t let that fool you. They are truly a hidden gem! All their food is cooked fresh and contains a lot of amazing flavors. The Hero Combo Plate comes with a mixture of beef and chicken cooked over rice and a side salad. And look how generous the portions are!
Order ready pretty quick, Most of the things we ordered was good, the philly cheese steak was great! however, the Nashville (spicy) chicken buger was literally raw and undercooked chicken dumped in red chilli powder and served.A week before I ordered the hummus it was frozen cold and tasted gone off when I recieved it.
We've had Gyros Hero via a Fooda pop up at work a couple times now, each time the food has been amazing. The Baklava is the best I have ever had. Service is great!!!
One of the best gyro joints in town. The food is just amazing, well prepared and delicious. The place is clean which is very important to me.I highly recommend this place to everyone.
Honestly one of my favorite gyro spots. it's fresh, delicious and fast service. The best welcoming staff and awesome atmosphere too, overwhelming the flavors of the food, it’s definitely worth the shot, worth it.
