Came in on a whim after a doctor appointment at nearby Methodist Primary Care Group. Slight wait for a Friday at 11am as they were a tad busy and I was told the cooking line got behind. I decided to sit at the bar being that I was alone. The "bar" mind you does not have an assigned bartender/server so the service is a little slower. Although I was not drinking, I did see that the modestly stocked bar had the makings for Mimosas and Bloody Marys. Also some rum, not sure what they make with that... My server was Elizabeth or "Ella". Super sweet and very attentive even as she served additional tables on this busy Friday. Several other members of the wait staff did make a point to check in on me as they would pass by on their way to the kitchen, which is visible behind the bar. I ordered the egg white, turkey and grilled shallot omelette which was very tasty served with whole grain bread, tomato slices and a fruit jam. All in all, the experience was good, restaurant was clean, good service and good food. Will definitely visit again when looking for a healthy brunch.Second visit update:Went for brunch and brought along my husband today. Thursday, 10:30am. Less busy, sat at the bar again. Great service today. I had the Tri-athlete, Jeff went with the Chorizo Sunrise Sandwich. Both were wonderful. We were also treated to samples of the Vodka Kale Tonic, yummy. Jeff went with the Cinnamon Toast Cereal Milk. Dessert in a glass. Great visit. This is quickly becoming our go to brunch spot. ♥️

First of the location is amazing! Decor and interior is bomb! We were expeditiously and kindly greeted by Spencer! Food presentation looked as good as it tasted and not to mention came fast!!! Hot and fresh, best eggs I’ve had at a breakfast spot hands down! Spencer clearly knows his menu too so your not left with one of those “i just work here” server I’m in the industry so I DEFINITELY APPRECIATE THE GREAT SERVICE AND FOOD! Will be back!

The place looks nice on the inside & has a vibrant, busy vibe to it even though it wasn’t overly busy when we went. The waitstaff was nice & friendly. The food didn’t take a long time to be served. The egg portions were on the smaller side. The potatoes were really good & the pancake was meh…. If I had to pick here or IHOP, I’d choose the latter.

For my first time here, I was expecting it to be a little better. My daughter got the chocolate chip pancake which she loved. We also tried biscuits and gravy- just okay. I had really been craving eggs Benedict. I was dissapointed and couldn't even eat the whole thing. It was lemon zesty? Even though it was described as "traditional" on the menu there was nothing traditional about it. I would have also preferred if it came with a hash brown option or something instead of greens.Bacon was not included (as seen in pic) My 4 year old stuck that on there!A bonus was my iced coffee. It was good and I was given a refill on it. Not sure if I was charged for a refill or if it was included. Our wait on a busy Thursday morning for food was 45 minutes.

We decided to try First Watch in Richmond today.. The place walking in looks inviting .. Also didn't take to long to be seated.... there were just a couple of problems with the food.. my potatoes ? were inconsistent some were soft and some were hard... Kitchen manager should be tasting and checking food before doors open.. also my girlfriend ordered broccoli ? cheese soup and they sent out wedding soup not even close WOW... someone should have said they were out ..She settled for the tomato basil and even though she thought it was good it wasn't hot..Please don't just bring whatever you want.. Other than that we thought the food was good... Well until next time signing off Two Peas

My first experience at this place was very pleasant. The servers are attentive, and the food and drinks came out very fast. The drinks themselves were extremely sweet, so I would probably ask if it were possible to use less sugar next time. For reference, I ordered one of the seasonal drinks (Purple Haze), and my friend ordered an iced coffee. If you’re strict about healthy eating, this place is probably also for you. A little pricey, but that’s probably to be expected. Otherwise, I’m glad I visited and would come back on occasion :)

My husband and I came here for the first time today for brunch. We had a wonderful time! Our server, Laura, was great; attentive, kind, helpful. When Laura came to greet us, she already had two mugs and a hot carafe of coffee in hand. My mom always says she judges breakfast places by their coffee, it has to be hot and strong, first watch passed the test! I was thrilled to see so many vegetarian options on the menu, I ordered a farmhouse skillet hash with no bacon. My husband ordered a chile chorizo omelette. We both through the food was delicious! Bonus: everything was perfectly seasoned. We ordered a cinnamon roll to go, we heated up later in the evening and it was perfect. We will definitely be returning.

So pleased to have this First Watch nearby. The Million Dollar Bacon was delicious! Our server Ayisha was welcoming and helpful. We’ll be back!

This was our first trip to this location. We had fallen in love with the brand in Orlando some years back and was happy to see that we would have more accessibility to this new one.The food was prompt and tasty and so were the drinks. Our server was Ayisha and she did an amazing job on my mom's request due to her many allergies. My tomato soup was sooooo good! We'll definitely be back.

This is my second time eating at First Watch, both times amazing food, atmosphere, service, and clean. I love the cozy feeling, so relaxing.
